Good food and excellent service. Great location near the port. We enjoyed our dinner very much. Try the "tripes à la mode de Caen" and the Tiramisu.

It is near Quai Juillet and so a short walk from Twisto tram stop. It seemed to well used by local people rather than tourists. The menu and wine list are not extensive but are perfectly adequate. It really is a bistro. very welcoming and helpful staff . I rather like Vouvray still white wine. Most restaurants and shops in France do not sell it. Thus bistros does so the surprise means I now have a sift spot for this bistro. They sell the wine by 25, 50 and 70 measures and the wine is poured from a bottle into a carafe. The steak I had and the duck my wife had were perfectly done to our taste (a point).
