We made a reservation for a mid-week lunch in mid-November so it was quiet - but even so, four tables taken, clearly known by locals. We shared a starter, two mains, one dessert, two glasses of wine. The waitress was personable and charming, very willing to explain in English. One of us ordered the dish of the day, an excellent salmon on vegetables dish and the Baba au Rum. The other had the gaspacho which was the star of the lunch. Imaginative, beautiful and most importantly delicious, followed by seared ahi tuna on soba noodles. Also very good. All with a couple glasses of rose. A nice friendly stylish bistro with excellent food and a very nice welcome!

We went to dinner while visiting Nice and loved this bistro. It’s a small but wonderful menu & the service was spectacular. We ordered the burrata starter, then the sea bass, tomahawk and duck for mains. All were superb. We wrapped up with a Cremè Brûlée cheesecake that was out of this world. 10/10

The food presentation and quality were good. Excellent gazpacho and salade nicoise - beautifully presented. Main course was prawn and squid risotto - good texture and flavour - squid was a little rubbery, however overall the meal was enjoyable. Waiting staff were friendly and courteous. Overall a very nice meal. Merci.

The food was exceptional! The prefix menu was the perfect amount of food and you get way more than what you pay for. Started with the salad niçois au thon frais and it was superb beautiful presentation and well seasoned. The vegetables were fresh and great quality all around. The second course was the risotto and I was in heaven! It melted in your mouth with a bit of a bite; it was cooked perfectly. The final course was a crème brûlée cheesecake and I died. Overall the meal was one of the best I’ve had in France. The quant restaurant is lovely with soft subtle music playing in the background, warm lights and a comfortable homey feel. My server was a gem! She was attentive and accommodating and it was very apparent locals frequent the restaurant as many came in to greet her (most people were eating outside since it was quite warm.) very heart warming to see. I highly recommend this place and it is worth going out of your way for an authentic and delicious French meal.

Comida variada y de calidad, igual que la carta de vinos. De postre probamos la tarta de queso de Baileys y estaba riquísima. Los camareros atentos y muy majos.

The service and the food were just excellence. I’ll definitely recommend to get the Burrata as a starter. The restaurant just has a small terrace at the street but we didn’t mind since the owners were just very nice and accommodating.

The restaurant was fine, the food was good. But the problem was with The Fork. When we arrived, we said we had a reservation and gave our name. However, this clearly didn’t register as a The Fork booking. Because 10 minutes into our visit I was telephoned by the restaurant (in which I was sitting) to ask why I hadn’t turned up. In exasperation, I confirmed I was there. I then asked a waiter to let the owners know that we were SITTING IN THE RESTAURANT. I then received emails from The Fork saying “It seems you didn’t turn up for your booking”. Finally, when I asked for the bill, there was no Fork discount included (I should have benefitted from a 20% discount). WHAT A TOTAL SHAMBLES. I am very unlikely to book via the Fork ever again.
