This was our first visit to this restaurant and will be our last. Many menu items were unavailable as was the wine we chose. Some food was lovely. The risotto was mostly rice. We had an 8pm booking due to attending Lightspace, but as a result we were hurried through our meal. Courses for the Chef's Tasting Plate were as described but came out at lightning speed. Service was friendly. Overall it was an okay experience, but hit and miss overall.

Excellent service did not make up for very disappointing food. The T-Bone steak tasted like cow meat and all food was very salty. The one saving grace was an excellent GF dessert.

Can not fault the service of all staff, they were extremely friendly. The food was amazing! However, the bill was extremely high considering we had the Chef Selection at $69pp + 1 drink each came to $270 for 2 people! Apparently water is $9 and the gifts of sangria is not a gift at all. That is extremely disappointing.

Staff were very friendly and attentive. Steaks were cooked perfectly to order. Only slight negative was the bright lighting and small table. Overall a good dining experience. ????????

We chose and booked this restaurant as the website showed a tapas menu. This is not correct. The food options were acceptable, but definitely not tapas. When we asked for the tapas menu, the staff member said that they don't do this anymore. PLEASE, update your website. This is basically false advertising.

A great find close to our accommodation. The duck was superb and the lamb was full of flavour. Finished with the Spanish crème brûlée and great coffee This will become a regular spot for a relaxed and tasty dinner when we visit Brisbane

This was our first visit to Black Fire & we were not disappointed. The staff were friendly & helpful. The food was great well presented and reasonably priced. We will be definitely adding Black Fire to our regular list of go to Restaurants.

The grilled scallops are a must try and suckling lamb paired with the pear and walnut side w the aioli sauce was a delicious combination.

Food was excellent tonight compliments to the chef. Exceptional service from Daniel, you are the man. Thank you for the great experience it is our last night away and what a way to end it. Food was so filling couldn’t fit in dessert and that is saying a lot for these poly bellies lol

We were looking for a small meal last night and noticed the Chef Tasting Menu. It was so good, but a lot of food and we couldn't finish it unfortunately. Had a nice bottle of Pinot Noir which was well priced, but the selection was small. Some of the service staff were young and lacked experience, but they were all friendly and polite and no complaints. We would definitely go back to try different dishes.

Great food and excellent service, especially enjoyed the chefs tasting menu so we were able to sample lots of the menu. Our favorite was the suckling lamb, totally delicious.

Chicken was cooked well as breast can dry out but had good balance between smoky flavor and moistness. Some spots were a bit dry but was ok with sauce. Could have had a spicy sauce option. Missed some good old veggies for the price. Some kind of greens/veggies would have helped with less roast potatoes to balance out, but found I was full by the end of it how they served it.

We were really impressed. The food was delicious and the service fantastic. If I had to be critical of anything it would be that our food came out a little faster than we would’ve liked. I know usually the biggest complaint about any service is slow service so this is a literally a minute complaint and it should not deter anyone from choosing to dine here. We loved it ????

The restaurant was a nice choice to catch up. The wine list & menu were both comprehensive & our choices were very good. Service was prompt & friendly staff. They adjusted the menu for dietary requirements without any drama. Definitely worth a visit
