This place is fantastic. The wines we tried were genuinely revelatory and the sommelier was brilliantly cheeky at helping us guess them. The Peruvian food was also beautifully conceived and looked amazing. We recommend this place very highly for a super memorable evening.

We have a great dinner here. We loved our food, tasty and well presented. The concept of learning more about the wine was surprising and fun . We have a nice chat with the sommelier and the wine he discovered for us was delicious. Overall, our nicest dinner in Bordeaux

Good quality food and fun concept with the blind wine offering. The Hungarian white was way past my ability to identify, the first sip was strange, then it became marvelous. I asked for another glass.

Food wasn't as good as expected from a Peruvian restaurant. The service was very slow but this is probably because it seemed under staffed. The owner was very animated going from table to table chatting to everyone but he totally ignored us - two senior ladies, and didn't even bother to say good evening or goodbye. He also had a dog wandering around the restaurant which, at one time when some diners had just left, jumped up on a chair at a table and sniffed the empty plates. I was under the impression dogs are not allowed in restaurants in France. Felt disappointed with the experience, particularly as this was the last night of a very pleasant holiday.

This restaurant wants to serve wine blind. The wines we were served were horrible. One was a very poor quality German and the other was a not drinkable Hungarian wine. We refused to ask for a second serving of wine. The food was uninteresting and unseasoned and just bad. There is no reason to go to this restaurant.

The rest is for evevryone reading this, not for you Stephen : Our restaurant is called « Blind » because we do a blind taste for everyone, The main goal is that you could learn sth about your own tastes. We work with little winemakers, unknown peasants around the world. The wines are organic and biodynamic. Do not expect us to serve you, 100% Bordeaux or 100% French wine. As at the pizzeria, you don’t ask for a burger. At the Blind restaurant the choice is Peruvian cuisine & Blind Wine from the planet. If you think you know enough, and you could chose your wine yourself, there are 1500 other great restuarants in Bordeaux, that you could go. « Blind » is only for the very open minded people J

We went to the Blind for vegetarian food, they did have vegetarian food , it was well presented but not satisfying. It was classified as a Mediterranean restaurant- is Spanish and Peruvian , if you want fish then it is worthwhile

Wonderful staff, wonderful wine and great food. The staff were so warm and welcoming and made the choosing of wine fun as well as interesting. The idea of staff asking you what types of wine you usually like, then proffering you a wine which both matches the food and your palate, and then asking you to guess the Region and grape, may seem stressful to some. It wasn’t, as it’s all good fun and the staff are so knowledgeable, the wines so varied, the food so good , that it just adds to the eating experience.

A terrific experience that really delivered on the promise of a fun and delicious experience. The tapas format allowed the table to taste and experience a variety of dishes — all quite delicious — paired with a ‘secret’ wine that blended nicely with our food choices. No…we could not identify the wine (Girondas from France) but got SOME of the components right! Relaxed atmosphere and efficient kitchen/service. This was perhaps the most fun we had dining in Bordeaux so far. Highly recommended.
