    We had high expectations but were disappointed with Blind. It was our wedding anniversary, so we went to celebrate and paid about 400 euros for 2 people (it was a special occasion, so we had the Emotions Menu and had wine). The experience was not on par with that price. The food was good, of course, but the service was not good enough. We appreciated the welcome glass of bubbly, as well as the complimentary glass of Porto with dessert. The staff did a fairly good job at explaining each dish they brought, and overall, everyone was pleasant for most of the evening. However, there were several things that we didn't appreciate for this kind of fancy/expensive restaurant. For instance: 1- the worst part was at the end (starting with this as this is a long review that most people won't read in full, lol!) We finished close to midnight (our reservation was at 9pm and it's a 12-course menu). I assume the staff was waiting for us to leave because at midnight, they turned on the lights (ruining the mood/ambiance, since it's a dark room), and turned off the music. They started to clean up around us, set-up tables for tomorrow, etc. This was an obvious message for us to get out. This was when they had just brought dessert. We felt rushed, and quickly ended our meal and downed our glasses. 2- we ordered 2 bottles of wine, specifying we wanted white and red to be able to match the dishes as they came (note that these 2 bottles were a lot cheaper than if we had taken the wine pairing). It took a long time for the bottles to come, and on our 2nd dish, we had to ask for a 2nd time for the wine to come. They brought the white, finally, but didn't open it until we asked a 3rd time. The red only came later, but again, we had to ask for the red bottle to be opened; we were already on our 3rd or 4th dish by then. We would have expected for both bottles to come promptly, and be opened when they arrived (or at least that they'd offer it). The staff was not busy, so that wasn't the reason for the delay. There were only 3 tables served that night, and we often saw some of the staff standing, not busy. 3- the wine glass my wife first received still had cloth fibers (I assume from cleaning it with a towel). Not the end of the world, I know, but for this kind of restaurant, you'd expect neat glasses. We asked for a clean one after noticing, and they brought it but didn't take away the dirty one, nor did they ask if anything was wrong. The dirty glass stayed on the table all night. Another example of lack of attention: chic restaurants always clean up your table from bread crumbs, but we never had that done. We did have quite a messy table at the end, with bread crumbs all over (especially since one of the "moments" in the tasting menu is bread. Again, not a huge deal, but something you'd expect for this kind of restaurant. Those are just some examples explaining our disappointment. I'm still rating it as 7/10, because the food was good (especially the foie gras ducklings that were absolutely amazing), but for this kind of restaurant and price, the service needs to be much better. We've dined at Antiqvvm several times, for a similar price (a bit more expensive now but similar price range), and the service is so much better. Each time we go there, we feel welcome and appreciated. We didn't feel that at Blind, unfortunately. I hope this feedback is useful to readers, and especially the restaurant. If it helps, we came on March 17th.

    Happy that I discovered this 'hidden' gem. Amazing spot, very good food & wine and friendly (English speaking) waiters. I am curious to try the Blind Menu, but first we need to get back to normal times...

    We were Blind-sided when we arrived and we’re told that we did not chose the Blind Emotion menu, which is in fact what we booked a month in advance. Apparently, the Fork website doesn’t allow specification of the experience you are looking for. Upon arrival we were seated in their GastroBar. Only one other couple was being served at that time. We asked if they would allow us to have the Emotion menu nonetheless but they said that would not be possible as they needed 24h notice. They then told us that this has happened many times and they have complained to Fork but nothing could be done. How about just changing the restaurant description to include the issue and recommended that patrons call to specify what they are looking for. The menu was uninspired, but I need to admit that the food was tasty. The drinks too lacked any aspect of craft cocktails. Only the basics were available and even they were either saccharine sweet or flavorless. The experience was not special, the atmosphere sedate and forgettable. It would appear that the ownership is Blind to what today’s restaurant goers are seeking in a culinary experience.

    We had a wonderful experience at Blind. We were late in arriving because the GPS system was misleading, but the staff was very understanding. The menu we chose was the 8 emotions, with the paired wine. Excellent food, great service. The area of the restaurant reserved for the menu service was small, decorated with racks of wines and quotes from various writers. My date said it was one of the best restaurants she has every been to. Highly recommended.

    Food was devine, really tasty and well balanced plates. Staff were wonderful, so welcoming, professional and nice. We sat out in garden area which is just so pretty. Highly recommended a wonderful treat!
