Fantastic food. Ordered entrees and mains and went home with a food coma due to the amount of food. One mistake by one of the waitresses was putting all of our mains (four plates) onto the table when we were only halfway through our entrees. This was the only disappointment.

Dined on 23 Aug with two friends. We let one friend order for us as he has been there many times. We shared a platter with 2 of each of lamb chops, chicken pieces and fish cakes. All good. Ordered two serves of garlic naan, also very good. Then more chicken, which was delicious. Ordered the pistachio and mango icecream that came with 2 dumplings. All delicious. Forgot to take photos as we ate it so quickly. Was really busy for a Wednesday night. Will return.

This is the second time I have dined here (I am from out of town). I booked it having being introduced to it a few months ago for a business dinner and the food was fantastic. The second time did not disappoint- they lived up to what I remember - every dish was delicious. Well priced also. 4 people, wine and other drinks for under $200

The restaurant had a great atmosphere and in a good location, the staff were welcoming and polite. The food was absolutely delicious and we didn’t have to wait long to get our meals and drinks we ordered. Highly recommended and would definitely go back again or order via menu log.

This was some of the best curry we’ve had, and it has kids meals too. Fantastic!

Lovely food & quick service – restaurant was a bit noisy and staff seemed a bit distracted at times. I'll be back again in a few weeks. Great location in teh city with parking close by.

Very low qualitu food and way expensive doesn’t worth it. Ordered chicken tandoori , the chicken was under cook and for 3 dish $100 paid. The management should action

A hidden gem in the middle of the city. Great ambience and very efficient staff. Dishes are well priced as are drinks. And the food is modern fusion but traditional flavours. Very busy on a Friday night but we have also come back a second night on the Sunday and it is much quieter.

This restaurant caters for vegetarian and Gluten Free option very well. The fusion dishes we tried was delicious too. One thing to consider with the menu is to mark dairy free dish clearly as there are guests with lactose intolerance but would like meat. Staff were attentive most of the time even when it got busier. Overall, it's a nice place for friends to catch up over delicious curries.

We ordered Valentine's Day Banquet but food quantity was disappointing. They charged 55$ per person but food wasn't enough for one person even.

Service was poor and slow. Got appetiser after 20mins. Asked for Beer while ordering main course. never got the beer it was seating on bar bench when I went to pay the bill. staff was not even bothered to ask if we are ready to placed the order called them several times then they appear. never and this kind of bad experience in Blue ginger. we love their food but customer service was pathetic. I do understand if the restaurant is busy there will be delays but it was not that busy yesterday when I visited.

This proved to be a great night out with friends. We shared three dishes with rice and entrees and it was delicious. Good fast service, a tad noisy but that's because of the hard surfaces. Not a problem for young people but difficult for the older hard of hearing customers. We'll definitely return though, great value for money.

Food was tasty, especially the butter chicken, and the chicken tikka kids meal was good value. Service was a bit too prompt in the first half of the meal, but then we couldn't get someone to take our payment at the end of the meal!

We went to this restaurant with my family and my husband almost cracked his tooth as he almost bit into a stone. We brought it to the attention of the serving staff, and they just did not care. I can't even imagine what would've happened if my 6-year-old daughter would've bitten into it or swallowed it. Disgusting food and even worse service. I hope the owner looks at the review and taken an action as itis detrimental to anyone who eats at this restaurant.

Great food and location. Service was a little slow. We will go back. the outdoor seating is a plus in COVID times. Nothing more to say but have to type 120 characters to post this review.

The service was prompt and friendly. The food was pretty ordinary. The samosas looked like they'd been cooked a while back and reheated. The lamb shaha(?) sauce was lumpy and a bit unappealing. A bit disappointing as I've enjoyed the restaurant in the past, but maybe it was more than a year ago?

5 Genge St, 2601, Canberra (ACT), Australia
Treat your taste buds to the culinary delights India has to offer at Blu Ginger. A brightly patterned feature wall, high ceilings and funky light fixtures add to the atmosphere of this Indian eatery. Located on 5 Genge Street, Canberra, pick a table in front of the glass wall overlooking the road – it's a great people-watching spot as you eat.
Blu Ginger goes through great pains to pick the freshest, locally-sourced produce and combine it with imported, and authentic, spices from the sub-continent. The result? Some of the best Indian food you've ever sunk your teeth into. Families who have a hankering for upmarket Indian food or groups of friends will fit in nicely here.
Tender, smoky lamb cutlets take centre stage on the starters menu while a lentil and coconut vegetable kootu is mixed in a deliciously thick sauce that has a surprising kick to it. Don't expect any bland chicken tikka masalas here either – mouther-wateringly creamy and peppered with capsicums is what you'll get. Order fluffy garlic naan breads on the side and your stomachs will leave more than happy.
