Nice experience at Blushing : quality, healthy food, and very convenient location (next to Amsterdam museums).
Pleasant staff.

I made a reservation via “the fork” the night before, but the option for the maximum number of people was 6. We, however, were a party of 8 (very discerning) family and friends. It was peak lunch time, every table was taken, but they quickly made our table to seat the eight of us, and the food and service were still excellent. I have eaten there several times before, and all of the food is consistently good, but the cakes are particularly noteworthy!

Terrible service, the waiters and the kitchen are so slow that you can send them for the death, they will be back after 100 years.

We happened to walk past the restaurant, loved the look of it and the fact that it's owned by Gordon. We were fortunate that the weather was good and that we got to sit outside under the umbrella's. The lunch was tasty and the wine good (albeit not chilled enough). The service however needs to be improved as the staff were disinterested and not entirely friendly. I cannot imagine that Gordon would be satisfied with the standard of service. But sort out the service and I'd definitely go back.

Spoilt by location is the best description. Food is quite expensive. Cakes, in my case it was carrot cake, was dry. Americano coffe cannot be size of small cup. personnel is more focused on themselves rather then on visitors. If service and food would be great i dont mind paying extra to sit against Van Gogh museum. But its not the case. Shame
