The food was excellent 10/10 ⭐️ the restaurant is perfect for a date, a friend’s or family dinner. We ordered the “special one” sangria and it was amazing. I recommend all the dishes from the photos (only tapas). The staff was super nice with us :) don’t forget to order the brownie (amazing)!!

It was a wonderful and outstanding experience! Super friendly waitresses, outstanding food (many tapas, bacalhau, risotto, entrecôte), great red wine and to wrap up a great family dinner: the tiramisu prepared at the table by the chef - an experience you should not miss. And sorry for all my Italian friends, this was the second best tiramisu of my life! Definitely worth a visit if you are in Porto

Food was amazing… but we had booked the terrace and ended up in the restaurant which was disappointing because it was a hot evening. Food you can’t fault and the green wine delicious. Waitress was very good at recommending what was what on the menu. There were 2 of us, with wine, 5 tapas dishes and fizzy water the bill was€78 which we thought was a bargain … would highly recommend

This was our second time here and it was as excellent as the first time two years ago. We had tapas and sangria. We booked a table outside on the terrace, but this place is small and noisy (with air conditioning unit) so we finally had dîner inside. This terrace could be improved.

The best meal I’ve had all week - good service and a nice quaint restaurant. Been once before and once again, didn’t disappoint. Tried the octopus which was equal style and substance - the lovely texture, combination with broccoli and sauce plus the flame grilled flavour made this a real triumph - crème brûlée was also excellent, the textures and touches of citrus, caramel and salt flavours to balance out the sweet were something else. I will be back a third time.

We had a really great waitress, she organised everything and coped well with a large (15) group. Food arrived properly prepared and at the right temperature. Really enjoyed the ambiance too! All round great find.

This is an absolutely wonderful restaurant. The food was clearly thoughtful, with the flavours of each dish complimenting each other so beautifully. Staff were attentive without being over keen, and the ambience was also wonderful, with clean toilets too! Will definitely be going back here next time I visit Porto!

Absolutely loved eating in this busy,trendy little restaurant. The young staff were friendly and polite, the ambience was informal. The food didn’t disappoint either, I had the marinated octopus in green sauce for starter which was delicious and so tender, my wife had Garlic prawns which were on the firm side but equally tasty. For mains I had a perfectly cooked pork loin on a bed of a cannellini bean,shredded cabbage and bread type mush, my wife had the Mushroom risotto, both were excellent. My sweet of Portuguese sponge cake was a little surprising but equally delightful, my wife’s Creme brûlée had a crispy salted caramel top and creamy custard. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our meal and were pleasantly surprised when we received the bill, €94 for 3 courses with a glass of port and a bottle of wine. Superb!

Tourists beware! There are TWO Cantinho dos Braganca’s! Our apartment host recommended the one with outdoor seating next to a green space - full of locals. The one on Fork is around the corner and down the block, across from a hotel with homeless people eating out of the garbage. We felt completely swindled by the bait and switch on Fork - I chose terrace seating - there was no terrace! We showed up to the one our apartment host recommended (which was bustling with locals) and the hostess proceeded to walk us to the “second” restaurant around the corner. At 19:00, we were the only ones there! Slowly, others began showing up - ALL TOURISTS. When we ordered tap water, we were told they only had bottled water. Then the proceeded to bring us a $3 bottle of what was clearly tap water! While the food was good, the atmosphere and service left much to be desired. But the worst part was feeling taken advantage of as a tourist.

We had a superb meal at Cantinho dos Braganca. The service was excellent, we were recommending the tartare to start. The Seafood rice was also of the highest quality. Thoroughly recommend - a great meal. Must all of course be accompanied by a jug of the Special One.

Very tasty, super delicious food with a great presentation. Nice atmosphere, super friendly staff both times we visited (Philip was a great host). Large drinks menu as well with a nice house wine. You must definitely share the bites to try as many courses as you can.
