10/10Very nice venue despite the extra-touristic proximity to the main pedestrian shopping street in Bordeaux: we had the menu of the day, including egg parfait, chicken in a light spice sauce and greeneries and a pastry with caramel and whipped cream. Also very good espresso and fairly priced. Book and go!

10/10This is a great restaurant with attentive service. The menu is small but the food was absolutely delicious. I had tuna, followed by beef and I was so impressed. Fabulous. Great choice of wines too. A lovely evening.

4/10Disappointing. Decor was tired and dirty. Staff scruffy but friendly. Bits of beetroot to start followed by a piece of battered fish which was nicely cooked, but served with a lump of broccoli. Looked forward to going to the restaurant but below average. Wouldn't recommend

10/10We had a family lunch to celebrate a birthday. We were accepted even if we arrived late before the end of the service (since we booked): there was no trouble. The meal and drink were very good. We shared starters and had each of us one of the 4 dishes proposed as main dishes. They were all original, delicious and just the right quantity. The chef warmly discussed with us and let us enjoy a bit more one of the original ingredient used in one of the starter. We had a great time. The quality of the food had a pretty fair cost even if not low enough to think about coming back on a very regular basis, even if the "carte"seems to change often enough. Great place for a special lunch or dinner during the weekend. It seems to have very affordable week lunch deals. I will certainly come back there.

10/10The restaurant is fantastic and we had an amazing time. The attention to detail and warmth of service is an absolute joy to experience. I’ve never tasted tuna as fresh as the starter and it was the best pluma I’ve ever eaten - try it, it’s an amazing restaurant!

7/10The menu du jour on the day of my visit had an egg starter and an eggwhite dessert, which I find rather too much egg for one meal. I had white asparagus for a starter which wasn’t peeled thoroughly enough. I also found the watercress sauce a bit overpowering. My chicken dish from the menu on the other hand was to die for. I skipped dessert and had a third glass of local wine instead, all very good and reasonably priced. They don’t have enough wait staff, though, if the restaurant and the little terrasse are busy. I had to shout out to get my glasses of wine after the first one. Heaven knows why women travelling and dining alone are never asked whether they’d like some more wine.

10/10Bo-Tannique is a little tough to find, our uber driver dropped us off a little way from the restaurant but once we found it we were treated to a wonderful evening of ambiance and culinary delights. One of the owners waited on us and did everything he could to make sure that our dinner was delightful. The food was over the top good and the place was wonderfully decorated and quaint. I highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a great meal and great service.

2/10This was not Michelin quality at s as all. The service was poor and inattentive. We waited 20 minutes for the server multiple times. The food quality was low and the preparation was spotty with pockets of salt and herbs not properly managed. Temps weee spotty too.

10/10We had the best time here. Both the food and wine were outstanding and amazing value. Both members of staff were very attentive despite being so busy, and nice to see lots of locals here. Would 100% visit again and recommend to everyone!
