Mixed reviews from our party on our most recent visit. There is not a single dish that is vegan on the menu. For a group of hotels / restaurants that purport to have ecological beliefs, I think not having a vegan dish is not in keeping. Coconut milk would surely be ok in the vegetarian curry instead of dairy milk?
Also not so happy with the price charged for the plain pasta with one grilled tomato at 15€ which was likely to be made with egg anyway and not vegan. On the plus side octopus nice, prawn curry good, tenderloin also good.
Sent back a recommended beer as it tasted of burnt molasses not red fruit as described. Still charged for item.
Feel it would have been easy for the restaurant to make us leave feeling 9/10 not 6.5/10

Its such a lovely setting - the juxaposition of the old convent with the new wood and of course all the books everywhere. the food was really tasty and just a little different to the norm. Gin bar and drinks offer good too. I tried the house red too which was a good one.
