This is a regular haunt of ours when we visit our home from home in Portugal. The restaurant is right on the quay where the fish is landed, so it couldn’t be any fresher. Service is excellent and they even put up with my poor efforts in Portuguese. We are spoiled for great restaurants on the Algarve but this one is firmly on our list of favourites!

We enjoyed our meal, the staff and the setting. A lovely space along the riverfront. All of the staff was warm and attentive. They were able to suggest items from the menu and all was delicious. The fish of the day grilled with accompaniments was mouth watering: seasoned and cooked to perfection. The fish soup as a started was delicious (especially with the warm head to soak up the broth.

Beautiful fresh fish cooked to perfection. Staff attentive and very impressed having the tiramisu prepared in front of us... can't get fresher than that! Would recommend as a treat as does come up pricey, which is to be expected.

Service was prompt and spot on during the whole time. The assistance with fish selection and deboning was appreciated. I thoroughly enjoyed the fish soup, sea bass served with a nice salad and wonderful potatoes , and the Algarvian Delight fig cake to finish things off. If I had more days on my stay I would return for sure.
