E i suoi desideri.

So artistic. Each bite bursting with flavor. Perfect wine pairing. Excellent and attentive service. Couldn’t have picked a better spot for a truly special dinner experience, our last night in Florence!

Food is good, but doesn't compare to other options in Florence that are significantly cheaper, including other Michelin star places

Food was fdantastic we chose a la carte but were given on the house two (mini peach & mousse & chips + a wonderful tomato aubergine) starters and a dessert of chocolates what a treat. Great atmosphere staff were great and the sommelier was extremely helpful and knowledgeable

Amazing experience at Borgo San Jacopo! We had the tasting menu with wine pairing. The cook likes to surprise you with unexpected tastes and ingredients but it all works so well together. We were seated at the small terrace with view of the Arno river, so the setting was also exceptional. All in all, one of the best gastronomic restaurants we’ve been to and this includes some very well known chefs in Paris!

I had booked a table at the terrace a couple of months in advance which was worth the effort. It gave us what felt like the best table in all of Florence, just by the river overlooking Ponte Vecchio. The service and food were almost impeccable - as they ought to be given the price point. The only glitches were us not being able to finish our drinks before being served the first course and a slight lack of service pace and attention from the otherwise very charming waiter at the end of the dinner. The latter might be somewhat excused by us sitting there from 21:30 to 00:30. We tried both the experience tasting menu and the classical Tuscan tasting menu. The first proved more imaginative and playful but perhaps not as coherent as it’s classical Tuscan counterpart. I’d recommend the Tuscan tasting menu, but rest assured that both menus and wine pairings will give you a great experience.

Borgo San Jacopo was innovative and fun. It pushed my wife and I out of our culinary comfort zones and exposed us to new and different foods, flavor combinations, and eclectic presentations. We tried two tasting menus (The Experience and My Tuscany) and both were an amazing journey. The menus were completely different and both delightful. It was a perfect spot to help celebrate our honeymoon.

A very fine restaurant with beautifully prepared food. The entire dinner experience was creative and aesthetically pleasing. The room was beautiful, view was nice. The only downside was that the service was a bit stuffy. Professional, but not overly happy. We would go again.

We tried both tasting menus: Both the Experience and My Tuscany. Impressed with both, but we still favored the Experience menu more just because we preferred the heartier food that night. Remember to ask for the balcony seat and plan your reservation around sunset, you are bound for a treat for both the palette and the eyes.

We had chosen Borgo San Jacopo by the river Arno as a perfect place for our 25th Anniversary meal. It did not disappoint. The food was an exquisite mix of Tuscan and contemporary cuisine using some unique and original ingredients. The meal itself was very expensive but overall the complete dining experience for our celebration perhaps made it all worthwhile.
