E i suoi desideri.

We had chosen Borgo San Jacopo by the river Arno as a perfect place for our 25th Anniversary meal. It did not disappoint. The food was an exquisite mix of Tuscan and contemporary cuisine using some unique and original ingredients. The meal itself was very expensive but overall the complete dining experience for our celebration perhaps made it all worthwhile.

The food was amazing, perfect to create a memory from, for many years to come, especially with such professional and friendly and caring service. The beautiful design, comfort and views are a happy bonus. Highly recommended and extremely delicious! It is a very special place. The chef must be obsessive about his craft. It shows in every single detail. Do the tasting menu with accompanying wine selection. It's worth it.

Atomsphere- elegant. Interior. River view at evening transcends like a movie scene as sitting on 2nd floor by window.

Food- As foodie who appreciate crusine art from various cultures, probably the worst dining experience we been to recent years. We tried both “Experience” and “Tuscany” menu. “Experience” despite eye catching evokes not sure about memory in mouth given mixture of extremely strong taste, very salty! We could hardly have third spoons of risotto and too much sauce ruining other dishes. Piglet and prawn is only ok dish. “Tuscany” tries for a twist from local ingredients but plain.

Service- Initial service was good but lack of attention to details. They took back the very salty rissoto dishes but replacing cheese caviar which was still very salty due to the sauce. We were expecting simple explaining how issues would be handled but in the end it would require our constant attention. Dining speed was very slow. Not sure what was going on withthe manager as she simply did not ask for our feedback and comment. Not how a Michelin star restaurant would acted..

Fabulous restaurant on the banks of the river Arno close to Ponte Vecchio. Innovative and interesting menu as you would expect from a Michelin starred restaurant. Friendly, attentive staff. Perfect for a special occasion.

The food was inventive and of the highest quality. We appreciated the opportunity to be able to try more than one tasting menu at our table. My husband elected to have the wine pairing which was adequate. It did represent many wines of the region although nothing particularly memorable. The food, on the other hand, was very impressive. My husband had the "Experience" which showcased the chef's creativity. Every dish was a work of art. I chose the vegetable tasting menu, each course highlighting a different type of vegetable group. Although it may sound vegetarian, it is not. Rather it puts the emphasis on the vegetable.
Our service was timely and polite. Our servers were knowledgeable and did their best to attend to us. The atmosphere was lovely and the location convenient. I would recommend Borgo San Jacopo to any friend planning a trip to Florence.

Beautiful location and friendly staff. Exzellent Service. The wine menue offers a lot of choice. High price however for French wines, but enough Italian wines between 40 and 365€. Three menues were offered (7 courses 120€). Fair price. One menue offered the Chef of Cuisine' s interpretation of dishes from Tuscany. The second was all about potato (Gluten Free). The third was called "Garden" and the idea behind was to eat from the root to the top of the plant. Nice idea, but the courses were not very plant or vegetable based. Too much cream and mashed vegetables, Quite heavy. The tuscany meal was fabulous. But maybe better to pick three courses of à la carte next time. Very flexible in terms of intolerances, allergies etc. - All in all a very nice experience, although I was a little disappointed from the Garden menue.

First of all, I'll just put it out there - my girlfriend and I paid 300 euros total for our meal, which included a tasting menu for each of us and two glasses of wine for each of us, so yes, it is expensive, but for us, it was totally worth it.

This is a restaurant with a Michelin star service and Michelin star food. Both of our tasting menus were fascinating, and while there were ups and downs, even the downs were interesting, and the ups were delicious in an extraordinary way. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for a unique experience!

A surprsingly excellent meal, had not really heard much about this restauarant so we didn't have any expectations. We were blown away by the quality, CREATIVITY and taste of the dishes. The chef is a truely talented young man and clearly humble. We enjoyed our meal from start to finish!

Lovely food and service . Sit in main Restaurant rather than room to the side as too bright and lacks atmosphere - feels like you are in the breakfast room .
Very attentive and food on time with beautiful presentation .

Our first experience in a 1-Star Michelin restaurant. Great, but we were maybe expecting a bit more emotions: more surprises, more explosions of tastes...
Awesome service and we even got a tiramisu reinvention on top of the menu for my partner’s birthday.
