I ate at this restaurant every night for two weeks, working through the menu. Everything was delicious, and the dishes I ordered on more than one night were consistent every time. And the service was friendly and charming.

We chose to eat at Botanica our first night in The Hague, and are glad we did. We had the place basically to ourselves, which was great because we were able to monopolize the time of our server, who was very gracious about sharing it. The food was really, really good, and we all enjoyed learning about how the restaurant is committed to being as green and earth-friendly as possible by utilizing fresh, local ingredients and working with local farms and suppliers

The ingredients were too simple and the portions were way too small, especially the main dishes. In addition to that the oyster mushrooms were dripping oil and the overall taste of the dinner was mediocre. Service was super nice though.
