Wonderful welcome and understandable English. Awesome presentation of food with homemade noodles. Wine selection was small but well selected. I will definitely be returning!

The food was delicious, the wine choices local, regional, national. The service impeccable...no wonder they have been in business since 1938!

WOW! We really enjoyed this place. We are from America and do our best to assimilate wherever we travel, however the staff her all speak wonderful English. We made a reservation, because Orvieto is so quaint, and many businesses are small, and can be impacted at dinner time. We chose an early dinner time and were greeted by Cassa who showed us to our table. Small, but vibrant (streaming "thievery corporation music). The table was small, but right near the window, and we could watch the street traffic. We enjoyed a Chardonnay and ordered the grand cheese and meat platter for 10 Euros, as we listened to locals chatter while enjoying wine. When the platter arrived we were overwhelmed at its size. Cassa took the time to explain the different meats and cheeses, and we also enjoyed 2 reds, which were young but tasty. Terrific ambiance, and great food, they also offer beer, champagne and certain cocktails. If we were not leaving in the morning, I would return tomorrow night!
