During Fringe 2023 we had booked the Brass Monkey for a dinner on the 1st floor balcony on a glorious Summer night, overlooking Northbridge, after a comedy show. I had the sirloin steak and my partner fish and chips from a reasonable Pub meal menu. The meals were delivered in a timely manner and both perfectly cooked. A very pleasant evening to remember and we recommend that others give it a try. tim and helen

Food at The Brass Monkey was awesome. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Great place for a feed and a drink. The layout inside is perfect and the location is spot on.

Nice sports bar atmosphere. Booth seating were comfortable. Long wait for drinks. Easy table ordering via QR code at the table, but food was mediocre.

No atmosphere in dining area. Table was sticky not wiped down. Stood at bar to order not acknowledged for a while. Did not know anything about our $50 yums deal. Ribs were tiny and so many chips. Overdone with salad dressing. Ribs caused stomach issues later. Won't be returning.

Really good for blokes as they had put us in the sports bar there were large screen tvs which played non stop sports- we ordered 2 vodka lime and sodas first up which were great standard price - we thenn ordered a bottle of wine and a glass of soda water to accompany the wine and were charged 6 bucks for it so much for encouraging responsible drinking our food was good we ordered a pizza, a burger, and chicken tenderloins with coleslaw - tenderloins were awesome coleslaw hadn't even a whiff of dressing on it my hubby would have loved it shame he wasn't there.

The barramundi was tops . The chips were excellent. That slaw was dry . The only thing it was just too noisy you couldn’t hear each other talk . That was really surprising as the dining room wasn’t extremely big . Would go back but maybe for a late lunch or during the week as I presume it would be quieter

They had no record of the booking. This is despite me sending three follow up emails and one phone call to confirm - that all went unresponded. The supervisor managed to get us a table and was helpful
