Food wasn't hot, also plates were cold. We had to wait a long time for our order & the wrong order was brought to the table. A serving of chips arrived when meal was nearly finished. Sauce for fish was glutenous & broccoli was over charred & hard. However, the breakfast was really good. Lots of variety & the cooked food was delicious!

Food was not good and manager took away tap water that waitress had already poured because we ordered still water. The bottle she bought out was not opened and when we told her that tap water was fine she ignored us and made the waitress take it away. So we paid 4.25 pounds for water we not want. She only offered still or sparkling water when we sat down. She was rude to her staff.

The food was very good particularly the dirty mash but the undercooked chips were a big disappointment. At least they did not charge for them.

Lovey French restaurant with great food. We ordered the Braised, Roast & Mustard Glazed Shoulder of Wild Roe Deer for two. It was very tender and intensely favored and impressivly large enough to feed three people easily. Highly recommended for a relaxing lunch or dinner.
