Went for the second times at De Pergola, love this restaurant cause comfortable, the waiter Wesley served us again, he was alone again, we had ordered 2 Caesar salads, a Fried Fish with Ravigottesaus and Spareribs. The Caesar salads served with young mesclun green leaves salads instead of Romain lettuce, with some grilled chicken, groutons and slices of boiled eggs. Found that the sauce with no garlic and anchovy taste, not the original sauce, well presented. The fried fish served with fries and salads and as well the Ravigottesaus ( taste same like tartare sauce ), looks like a typical ‘Fish n Chips ‘ . Spent 4 days 3 nights at Giethoorn, amazing place, had dinner at Restaurant De Pergola by the comments from The Fork, the service was adorable, a waiter name Wesley who take care of us very friendly, found that he was alone for the service and the same time he has to help at the front desk. I had ordered the Mixed Grill, served with a skewer of Chicken, a piece of Tenderloin beef and piece of Pork garnished with fries and salads; very well presented, the meat were so dry, no sauce..... my daughter ordered an XL Burger, huge burger served with fries and salads; my wife had the Spareribs, as well known dishes at the restaurant, won 2 times trophy, very big portion, taste good, the meat so tender.

The waiter was wonderful, and helped us decide what we wanted to eat. We had the four course Chef's Surprise with four different wines to go with each course. Everything was served beautifully and was delicious. in fact, the food was amazing. The dessert was exceptional too. We loved every thing about this place.
