9/10I went here with my mother and a friend, it was great. I can definitely say that this has been one of the best restaurants service wise, they give a personal touch to helping you and it’s great. The food was delicious and the ambiance was very nice!

10/10We enjoyed a wonderful three course dinner at Timmerhuis. Our gracious host was entertaining and engaging. The food is fabulous, home cooked and satisfying. The range of soft and alcoholic drinks is great too. We plan to return for a tasty lunch before we leave Rotterdam.

6/10Food quality is mediocre and service is quite slow. But staff is friendly. It’s a decent option with a 50% discount but I wouldn’t go there otherwise. They also applied a weird % of discount which wasn’t 50% so that was unfair and they forced us to order a main dish AND an entrée per person, even if we didn’t want

8.5/10Located in the heart of Rotterdam this restaurant is slightly hidden away but is a great place to dine. The staff were friendly and warm, helping to recommend some dishes to our colleagues who weren’t familiar with Surinamese cuisine. The portions were generous and balanced well. I think our guests from outside the Netherlands were impressed and satisfied. I would recommend it to others who want a hearty meal at a family restaurant.
