8.5/10this is a well laid out restaurant with a nice feel, good lighting and well spaced tables. The menu, even a la carte is quite limited. Plates are not warmed enough before plating. Service was a bit variable. We did have a issue with one of the plates but the restaurant manager quickly intervened and took care of it. Staff were friendly and we had an enjoyable evening

10/10Service was over the top! So grateful for the staff. I proposed to my now fiancé just before going to the restaurant and was running a half an hour late - they graciously made space for us and stayed well after 10pm for us. They food was impeccable, we had the salted sea bass and were blown away. I am astonished. Just wonderful. Couldn’t recommend more.

10/10The food and service was superior. In fact, it is difficult to accept that this restaurant does have a two star Michelin rating. The advantage to patrons is that, while it waits to be rediscovered (it did have a one star Michelin but lost it) the pricing is very reasonable.

10/10Restaurant Bridges is a fabulous place. From start to finish the experience was faultless. The attention to detail was fantastic, the food exquisite. The wine pairing complemented the dishes perfectly. I recommend this gem to anyone who visits Amsterdam.

9.5/10What a brilliant experience! I invited my parents for their wedding anniversary and we had a fantastic time. The people there are very nice and caring, the food was absolutely delicious, the flavors, the textures, a real joy.. We asked the sommelier for a recommendation as we wanted to try a Dutch wine and the wine was just perfect with our menu. We had the 5 courses lunch menu and each course was a delight for the senses. Beautiful, tasty and cooked to perfection. Highly recommended!

10/10Had dinner with my friend, the restaurant location was right at the Center of the city, nicely decor (we got a table facing the water). We ordered the tasting menu, good value for a 7 course tasting menu, seafood was prepared nicely and the flow of the food was good. Some dishes could hv been salted a bit more but overall, not overwhelming but well defined and great 7-course.

10/10I booked a table at Bridges for my partners birthday and I can say it was an amazing evening for sure. All of the arrangements and extras I had asked for prior to us arriving were all met and the communication with the restaurant was very responsive too. The ambiance and service was exceptional and the food was beyond our expectation. Would definitely recommend and will visit again upon returning to Amsterdam !

Dining in the heart of Amsterdam? Bridges is located on one of Amsterdam's oldest canals and is the ultimate place to go to for an elaborate lunch or a delicious dinner. It is a place where every ‘Amsterdammer' feels at home; with inviting service, hospitality and conviviality.
Bridges is a unique restaurant with a dynamic atmosphere, where a delicious breakfast is served in the morning, where you can enjoy a relaxing lunch in the afternoon and delicious wine-food combinations and surprising cocktails in the evening. It is a place where 'the exceptional accessible' is.
As of the 1st of December 2018 Raoul Meuwese is the new Executive Chef of Bridges. Raoul very motived to continue expressing and developing the new concept of Bridges. Raoul Meuwese's dishes are typically French with a modern twist. In addition he strives with his entire team to the highest culinary quality, Gault Millau rewarded the restaurant with a score of 15,5.
Bridges is mostly focused on fish, where you can enjoy the à la carte menu or the Menu du Chef' (4, 5 or 6 courses). A unique feature of Bridges is the Chef's Table in the heart of the kitchen! With a party up to 6 people you can enjoy the magic and full experience of the kitchen brigade up close. Prefer to sit private? Bridges has a private dining which is available from 8 till 12 people. During the summer time Bridges has a beautiful garden where dinner is served under the stars.
Across Bridges, within the same building you are able to find Garden Bistro Oriole, a place where you can relax completely. The bistro offers an all-day menu which is inspired on the Mediterranean cuisine with worldly influences to please all senses of taste. The Chef is turning the fresh and seasonal ingredients into the most indulging dishes in the summer the Garden is the place you have to be.
