Excellent
Michelin star standard food and service well beyond our expectations. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes good food. We were staying at the hotel but would come back just for the food.
Perfect all along. The food is delicate and inventive : we tried the Octopus, the egg « crème brûlée » style, the pig... all fantastic!!! Very friendly service and good advice on food + wine. We dined outside (Covid compliant place), and this place was very delicately arranged. Perfect evening -thank you so much!
Fabulous new restaurant in the center of the Center of Florence, steps from Via Tornabuoni, Piazza Repubblica and the Duomo. Gorgeous Chinoiserie decor, and the food and service are exquisite. Very, very highly recommended.
We went for my husband's 30th birthday. The restaurant is beautiful with vintage setting and decoration, very comfy chairs. The presentation of food is surprising, even for a deep fried dough ball, it was presented on a hot pillow, many surprises throughout the meal as we were given different delicate sides and starters in between main meals we ordered. The staffs are very friendly and informative as we were told stories and histories about the food we were given which is very interesting. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for somewhere romantic and beautiful for a special occasion.
Located at ground floor of five star hotel Da Lino is right place to visit for romantic evening. Thursday they have live music.
Lovely spot in the center of Florence, but off the main thoroughfare. Elegant menu and genteel service. Nice Tuscan wine list.
Via dei Pescioni, 2, 50123, Florence, Italy
The restaurant is located inside the evocative Winter Garden, covered by the historic Liberty-style glass ceiling. A versatile ambience, where mirrored screens bestow intimacy to the setting, reflecting the exquisite petroleum blue velvet of the seats, while the sophisticated wallpaper depicting the Tuscan fauna, recalls classic motifs of 18th-century chinoiserie. In this unique location, Chef Pasquale D’Ambrosio creates harmony between senses and flavors of a past that is always present. Among his proposals, the inimitable roasted rock octopus and the most traditional Chianina tenderloin with five peppers, a true tribute to the Tuscan land.
Il Pranzo della Domenica is our hotel’s newly reimagined Sunday brunch. Every week, the Chef takes you on a Grand Tour of Italian cuisine, with a gourmet selection of dishes paired with terroir-driven wines, served buffet-style in the Bristol Winter Garden. Every Sunday, the buffet and live-cooking stations celebrate the culinary traditions of a different Italian region: a luscious spread of Tuscan classics is always offered. Desserts are one of the most cherished attractions of our Sunday brunch. Indulge in freshly made cakes, tarts and pastries meticulously prepared by the Chef himself and his team.
Born in Campania, Chef Pasquale D’Ambrosio stumbled upon his passion for cooking when he was a child, and over time, he’s crafted a blend between cooking and his other great passions: poetry and theatre.
His cuisine, characterized by an attention to well-being and the healthy aspects of his dishes, is the result of numerous experimentations over the years, which have earned him a number of recognitions. His dishes are a tribute to Italianness and have been defined as “Impressionist” for the use of vivid colors and crisp shades that blend well with one another and with the ingredients.
