9.5/10what I would deem a good neighbourhood restaurant rather than fine dining. That said, the food was excellent with our main courses of pork cheeks and duck magret coming with salad and chips and mushroom rice respectively. we did nt expect the glass of bubbly and an extra course/ameuse bouche. Good meal, recommend !

7.5/10Duck with mushroom risotto, salad and gravy all on the same plate? Bizarre combination which did not go together at all. Duck was overcooked. Would have been better cooked for half the time and with just chips and salad. The risotto wasn’t bad, just inappropriate.

6.5/10The food was very good but unfortunately they must have lost our order as we waited an hour for it, and that was after twice asking waiters when it was going to arrive. And the beer we ordered never arrived. We also waited 10 minutes for the bill. Very disappointing

9.5/10the staff were all very friendly and helpful, the food excellently presented and starters large. had the rack of lamb for mains and this was very tender. husband had the beef, again a large portion. both were served with salad and potato wedges. personally do not advice a salad as not keen on this but this did not detract from the quality of the meal. wine prices reasonable.

2/10Very poor service. Staff not interested in the customer. Food luke warm and poor at best. Speaking to a fellow tourist who was turned away on Christmas day due to being cancelled an hour before arrival. Shocking!

The food was good. The poor staff struggled because ther was no duty manager (hence the poor mark for service) which is shocking with the serious complaint we had. The new management HAVE REMOVED THE DISABLED ACCESS RAMP!!! Anyone who cannot manage AT LEAST 8 STEPS should NOT USE BROTHER'S RESTAURANT. There was no manager on duty either. We completed the complaints book but without the assistance of the two waitresses my husband would have fallen.

10/10Our first visit to this restaurant and will sure return. A very warm welcome was followed by sparkling wine and a delicious taster. The prawn main was to die for and overall it was the best meal we’ve had in Madeira this holiday. The service was excellent and helpful and friendly. Great value for money as well.
