We made a reservation well in advance, and were the only table. It took the waiter 10 minutes to bring us a menu, then suggested a wine that shouldn’t have been sold at a restaurant of this caliber. Maybe it was simply open for too long, but they should have opened a new bottle. We had an appetizer, then left and took dinner at another place. The service and attitude was too poor to stay

We have had a very Nice evening with lovely food. The staff (2 young friendly waiters) was,looking after us well and advised us on their specials. The food was wonderful( good meat and a nice starter and a delicious 100% chocolate dessert). An unexpected (bit unpleasant) thing was the wine.... not the wine itself, but the price.... We had ordered a good wine, priced 35 euro’s. The waiter came with a different wine which he recommended by the meat. We accepted the wine, but forgot to asked the price..... the surprise was the price of 80 euro’s!!!!! So lesson learned....ask the price of the wine if they recommend another bottle! (Smart way of selling expensive wine, but not very polite)!

Cool restaurant with great service in the heart of Verona. They offer good quality red meat cooked at the right point, and a nice selection of local wines.
