Booking mucked up, was made for breakfast not dinner, and turned away. now they want to write a minimum of 120 characters on why I am not happy...........

This restaurant was in a lovely position overlooking the beach. The restaurant looked stylish and it was clean. The staff were welcoming and helpful on arriving and taking our order. There was a limited menu and the food took 45 minutes to arrive. People who ordered after us were served before us. We were not offered any more drinks or water refill while waiting. When we questioned our food order it quickly arrived and the food was good. We were not offered any further drinks or asked if everything was okay.

This restaurant is in a hotel complex and caters for the clientele. Food is excellent with a good range of dishes. Cocktails and spirits range is extensive. Service was great. Will return.

Great location, excellent staff who seemed to be having fun working -this have the restaurant a good relaxing vibe. Menu was inventive, perhaps a little bit too inventive, food was good however expected something different based on menu

Food was excellent! Front of house and staff were exceptional. A little busy and tables close to one another for our liking. Extraordinary experience every time we eat here and bring our family and visitors. Never disappoints.

Love it so much we are going again tomorrow. ???? The pasta dishes are so yummy we are having the same again, don't get me stated on the desserts they are the best????

Food was lovely but slow service - it was a busy night but table next to us had 3 courses while we wanted nearly an hour for one course - They have a problem with their mains either give larger portions or reduce price - I ordered fritters for $28 what arrived was 4 teaspoons sized fritters on pile of maybe 12 cherry tomatoes- delicious but very very small for a main - would have ordered another drink or dessert but didn’t want to wait any longer - did mention v small size of main to waiter but she didn’t offer anything

Staff mediocre and kids menu disappointing, serving "whatever chicken they had" as opposed to the schnitzel written on the menu and serving a child the spicy adult chicken.

The staff food and service where great. However the fork did not have us in the restaurants system. Luckily the manger got us in

Fantastic food and a setting that's second to none. The restaurant accommodated a special request for our anniversary and staff were friendly and courteous. We had a couple of mix-ups with our order buy were rectified with out fuss. Thanks for a wonderful evening.

The food was a delicious and fresh the service was generally great apart from the length of time to get our drinks. Our compliments to the Chef and Denis was fantastic on the service . Thank you Castaways for another great meal .

Very professional service, great food and an idyllic setting. No problems bending the menu for a child with special needs and helpful knowledgeable staff. Went back again and will do so in the future.

Amazing setting and our food was spectacular. Duck tortellini with mushroom bisque was favourite entree,, and I loved my barramundi. Generous sides with garlic bugs a hit. Bombe Alaska special way to end.. Thankyou for a wonderful night.

Capital city quality in sleepy Mission Beach. Word by mouth was “a bit hit ‘n miss”, well happy to say our 3 course meal was a hit all the way. Staff were attentive and knew their job. A breathe of fresh air from the previous days excuses of under-staffed, under-motivated and “havn’t been to woolies yet” at other venues. Well done Buko, you should be very proud. I was getting soo use to lax service and actually forgot I was in Mission Beach. Worth every cent, keep up the great work.

I did not expect such superb restaurant quality food. The Biko bar desert was absolutely amazing. The quality taste and presentation of the food was unbelievable. The service we received from Kesh was outstanding super friendly and fantastic at his job. We stopped here by chance and will definitely be coming back here.
