About the restaurant By Lemonakis

Greek food as if you are on holiday in this country. The Greek cuisine is so diverse that you can hardly manage to try and taste everything on the menu of this restaurant. Of course everything is freshly prepared and provided with a lot of side dishes. Fresh salads, delicious grilled meat and fish. There is a spacious terrace where you can enjoy fine dining, but it is also suitable for a fresh cup of coffee, a full lunch or a cocktail.

They were very lenient in changing our reservation by adding another person to our group and changing the time of reservation.

The food was good, not great. We had octopus, trio salates and dolmadakia for starters. The dolmadakia was good and the octopus a bit too tangy, but otherwise wellprepared. I personally did not try the trio salates, but my friends seemed to enjoy it.

As mains we had chicken souvlaki, gemista and pestrofa. My friends enjoyed their dishes, but my pestrofa (salmon trout) lacked flavor and the salad was overdressed. It was fine, but not worth reordering.

Overall the food was good, the service/staff was great. Worth revisiting. But only when I’m already in Lelystad.
