We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast before visiting the Tower of London. Has a great chat with the manager reminiscing about life in the East End.

What a great little restaurant. The staff was so nice and attentive. They were quick to find us a table, get us a menu and help us with whatever we needed. We ordered 2 breakfast menu items and they were both delicious. The the coffee was really good and they gave us one to takeaway. Highly recommend!

This is a lovely, no nonsense little restaurant which is so central to one of the main London tourist spots but maintains very high standards at very reasonable prices. Staff are always pleasant and nothing is too much trouble. Nice menu with something for everyone on there, including children. Food is always excellent. I've been there often and will continue to do so. Its great.

We love the Byward, feels like a secret find in a brilliant location. Lovely ambiance, staff are attentive, knowledgeable, service is just right. Yummy brunch and amazing homemade quiche, thank you!

Everything as we would expect, service was great except unfortunately the promised discount was not granted. If a restaurant is participating in discount programs this should be honored without any additional comments by the customer – this works normally great with reservations via the fork.

Awful food and service. Pre frozen fish, with the argumentative waiter claiming why I had questioned the food quality after the event, when he had checked with me everything was ok. That is correct, but he chose to check before I had the chance to try the food. Avoid at all costs.

In response to your comments. Our fish is not frozen. Your server did check all was ok at the start of your meal and during your meal to make sure you and your guest were both happy. You both completely finished your meals without complaint, until you approached your server to ask for a further discount on top of the fork discount. Unfortunately we could not reach a compromise and we are sorry you have had to raise this through this medium.
