Lovely location not far from the Grand Canal. The steak was one of the best I have ever eaten and the mixed seafood platter that we had as a starter was also first class. However my favourite was the scallops which we also enjoyed as a starter.

You can go your way and avoid this deplorable restaurant because the waiters are foul. Extremely bad food pizza. So dry that they are impossible to swallow.. Truly a disgrace.

We returned here , I had been here last year. I remembered the food was good. We had ravioli, lamb, beef , and seafood. Everything was very good. The only disappointing factor was that the deserts were bought in and not home made. Chosen for the usual type of commercial desert menu. This spoilt the otherwise very good meal

Older restaurant. Ordered beef well done. But wasn't beef delivered it wasnt editable. Couldn't eat it and had to pay nearly 80 euros. Never been so disgusted with a meal like this before. Will not be returning and noone cared just charged me in full

Ca’ Foscari al Canton (Owner)

Arrived with yums €50 discount. As soon as they sit down they take out the 1.5 liter plastic bottle of water and say "nothing to drink for me (him). A medium-cooked fillet of beef arrives since the order did not specify the type of cooking, once it arrives at the table he complains that he wanted it well done (well cooked the meat is tougher than medium cooked, you cannot expect very soft meat if he asks for it well done), we cook it again and in the meantime his wife finishes her dish. The fillet of beef arrives on the table, eats half of it and calls the waiter to say that this is not a beef fillet but a beef steak because it is tougher. At the bill of €78.50 with €50 yums voucher he had to pay €28.50 but he refuses to pay (he wanted to eat for free). They pay the bill and after two hours of booking the mystery is solved, they cancel the booking so that they can use again the 50€ Yums. We have reported you to the fork to prevent this from happening to other restaurants.
