7/10To claim to be a meat expert we were a bit disappointed because our 4 steaks was not very tender. It tasted ok, but the lack of tenderness and not very sharp knives destroyed our experience. Staff was friendly but not very good in english.

9.5/10The steak I was served was excellent, but the overall menu was rather limited. I was especially impressed with the delightful manner of the young waitress, who was a native of Alicante, ie. not Uruguayan.

5.5/10Me and my girlfriend are celebrating our anniversary and had been recommended Cabaña Grill by friends for the quality of the food but we were left disappointed sadly by the service. The waiter was really helpful but rather than us speak in Spanish to him we offered English, this isn’t normally a problem but unfortunately he took our order down incorrectly and we were left with eating two blue steaks (though we requested medium), one at a time. They were so undercooked that we needed three hot stones to be brought out just to get them to medium. Every time we had an issue there was no follow up on the service and it seemed that were more interested in showing the vacuum-packed steak selection to new customers than looking after those who’d already ordered. Despite all this the steak was delicious (though mine was around 25% near-raw fat), the ambience was nice and the young waiter really looked like he wanted to help, was very polite etc. The food coming separately and having to effectively cook the steak myself, given the price premium, pretty much ruined the occasion and is why my ratings are as they are. We were offered a complimentary shot of limoncello but this was extended to all other tables also. Big shame as with a few tweaks they could have something special here
