After making our reservation, we went to the restaurant--only to find out that it had been closed for quite a while. No sign, no notice on this website. Very disappointed on our first night in Florence. Update your listing, please.

Such an intimate experience with amazing food, wine, and service. Cannot go wrong! Was our first night in Florence and we chose to eat here over places recommended by our hotel. And we were so happy!!

Intimate, charming and delicious. We were welcomed warmly, despite being late for our reservation time. There are only about 4 tables so the service is very personal and not pushy at all. It is located very close to the Ponte Vecchio Bridge and so it was not surprising that all the other patrons there (all 5 of them) were also tourists. But still worth a visit.

Enjoyed traditional food of Florence in this neighborhood restaurant. I had the marinated pork with beans, eggplant and artichoke which was wonderful. My spouse had the meatloaf which was cut thin and topped with shaved back truffles which had more of a tangy flavor and a tad dryer than usual. Good wine, salad and dessert. Fun evening. Would recommend.

We enjoyed a cheese board with four sheep cheeses which were all delicious. The cheese came with yummy marmalade and honey accompaniments. We also ordered a park dish with beans which our server called “Tuscan Tuna”. It came with a piece of eggplant and single artichoke heart. Our server recommended wines that worked well with the food. There were only a handful of tables so it was very cozy.

The restaurant is a small pearl in Florence hearth: half a dozen of tables to have dinner at candle light, surrounded by Tuscany typical interior design. Dishes belong to the sincere regional cuisine tradition, I particularly recommend "tonno toscano", i.e. pork cooked peculiarly to achieve a taste almost like tuna fish. They do not serve the notorious fiorentina steak but you will not miss it. Wine is certainly one of their forte, ask the knowledgeable staff to match food and beverages.
