6/10Nice atmosphere, we had booked a table inside but no problem moving outside once we arrived. Service was good, but the food was disappointing. We had read elsewhere that Cafe Balear is "one of the reference restaurants in Menorca and a must visit in the Port of Ciudadela" however our experience varied; the seafood croquettes and the John Dory were both pretty underwhelming, and the lobster stew was 'OK' but not '€80 per portion nice'. Maybe we just got it on an off day but our meal was far from the best that we had in Ciutadella unfortunately.

10/10Came here for lunch and had the €70 Caldereta de Langosta tasting menu. Speed of service and quality and taste of food all excellent. Would definitely visit this place again.

5/10We were very much looking forward to having a special meal . As we’d had amazing reviews about this restaurant. However, it’s was very disappointed with service very rushed staff. Dry ( over cooked) expensive fish. Was handed my bill - when I hadn’t even asked for it. All in all I would not return

10/10Everything we ate and drank in Cafè Balear was excellent and the views are amongst the best in Cuitadela. The fact that every table was taken on a Monday lunchtime says it all - superb!

9.5/10Very good food and service. They were a little reluctant to give us a table in the ground floor or by the window in the first floor. After I insisted since I booked in advance and with this comment, we managed to get a better table.

6.5/10Had made a reservation 1 month before to get a table outside!!! In the restaurant i was told that reservations are only for inside…. but that I was never informed while making the reservation an also not when getting the confirmation. For me that makes no sense. Dinner was ok.

5/10We reserved a table because the Restaurant itself must be quite good. But just arrrived (1 Minute) the waiter (and One other) started to stress what we want to drink/ to eat and so on. As this was a bit too „touristic“ approach we didn‘t fell well and left. But this was no problem as you will find near by very good alternatives
