The renowned French chef will be taking over our kitchen for a very high-end culinary week. Elected Best Chef of the World in 2015 by Le Chef Magazine, Pierre Gagnaire is not only the chef of a restaurant: he also oversees 11 other restaurants and 13 Michelin stars. His approach is - unhurriedly - being disseminated around the world, while he whets his own style of skills transfer. Passing on his quest for emotion in the cuisine he shares with his customers. Passing on the savoir-faire he teaches to his teams. Amongst the culinary marvels that he will serve, guests will be able to enjoy the rump of farm veal cut in piccata, the lobster fricassee and plankton with glasswort, or his famous Bouillon Zezette.

MANDARIN ORIENTAL – Offrant une cadre relaxant et élégant au bord du Rhône, le Café Calla réunit une très belle salle, une terrasse ombragée à la parisienne et l’exclusive “table du Chef” de dix couverts.

CARTE NOVATRICE ET ORGANIQUE – Proposant uniquement des plats fait maison à base de viandes et de poisson de la région, Nasser Jeffane (disciple de Thierry Marx) a imaginé un large éventail de menus ainsi que des choix à la carte. L'après-midi, un assortiment de fromages vous attend dans la cave à vin et ses 1500 bouteilles !

MENU 55 – Le Café Calla propose également un « déjeuner à 55 CHF en 55 minutes » composé de trois plats et pensé spécialement pour les repas d'affaires.

Food was delicious. The butchers menu is a definite must have if you manage to pass by in the next few weeks. Otherwise the menu itself offers a great selection and has been recently updated.

A relatively expensive place to each, but much better value for money than other other five star hotel restaurant.

Food was ok, but unfortunately nothing special. Very rich - lots of salt, butter and cream - but not a lot of imagination.

Organised a business lunch here. Restaurant was extremely accommodating given flexibility required over timings and menu selection. The servers even facilitated a small amount of 'musical chairs' with the seating arrangement! Tasty and precisely executed food. Would recommend.

Great idea to serve very tasty and healthy food! We liked it a lot! We passed by during the holiday season, so the snack-veggies offered as a start were not at their best. All actual dishes were tasty and we enjoyed a lot, even the chocolate cake which was quite heavy after the meal.

A little bit disappointed when told the perch was not available, but really appreciated all the pleasant staff and the excellent service. The lobster and deer were excellent. The dessert with macaroon was found too much sugar personally speaking. We were globally satisfied with our first experience at Cafe Calla. A good address to recommend

Everything was perfect. We had good meal and great service. Staffs were very helpful and attentive without giving a feeling of disrupting our conversation. Our lunch ended quite late but we didn't need to rush until the end. The view from terrace is quite nice and it was not too loud even though locating next to the street.
