The food was good and fair, but the service really stood out. The waiters were not only trying their best for our table, they also looked very well after other guests.

The waiter was very unpolite asking us to leave out 5 minutes after the show finished because they wanted the table to other clientes. I really dont recommend.

A bit of a tourist trap. The Flamenco Show was fun, but all together the meal and show was quite expensive considering the quality of the food and total experience. Our waiter must have been serving ten tables as he was not around much, needless to say he got a tip anyway as it was built into the bill. If you want to see Flamenco, I would suggest that you pay for the show only and eat elsewhere.

We've chosen this place because had read in a travel guide about Flamenko show. When we got the menu we noticed it was overpriced place. But we were sure that in such way we pay for the show. For example: paella costs there 30 euro, but there are plenty very nice places in Madrid where you can get set menu for 10-12 euros per person with a glass of wine. We were very surprised when we hot the bill and saw that we have to pay for the show 23 euros each!. Nobody let us know.

About the restaurant

"Flamenco sounds in Madrid evoke this place, one of the best tablaos-restaurantes of the city. As a soleá, its strength impresses you from the moment you enter, an ancient Palace of the eighteenth century, joined with the Senate, decorated with Manila shawls. The Café de Chinitas originated in Malaga but has become memorable in the Spanish capital.

Its cuisine is Mediterranean and select, as one of the joys of Cádiz well performed on its stage; jabugo ham will make you feel like your in the land of its origin, and with th bienmesabe Malaga you will touch some palms.

Their show you blow you away with vigour, with the art of its dancers and singers who have made the Café de Chinitas a famous place. If you want to live in person the Flamenco passion, come visit, and remember not to lose the compass: 7, 8, 9, 10, 1, 2, 1, 2 3...."
