About the restaurant Café de Chinitas

"Flamenco sounds in Madrid evoke this place, one of the best tablaos-restaurantes of the city. As a soleá, its strength impresses you from the moment you enter, an ancient Palace of the eighteenth century, joined with the Senate, decorated with Manila shawls. The Café de Chinitas originated in Malaga but has become memorable in the Spanish capital.

Its cuisine is Mediterranean and select, as one of the joys of Cádiz well performed on its stage; jabugo ham will make you feel like your in the land of its origin, and with th bienmesabe Malaga you will touch some palms.

Their show you blow you away with vigour, with the art of its dancers and singers who have made the Café de Chinitas a famous place. If you want to live in person the Flamenco passion, come visit, and remember not to lose the compass: 7, 8, 9, 10, 1, 2, 1, 2 3...."

This was one of our most expensive dinners in Madrid, and the quality certainly wasn't great. If I would have known that it was possible to see the show without the meal we would have done so. When we entered we had to make a choice from the menu right away. We had to pay extra for some bread, which should have been included in these high prices. Our waiter was very nice though, but the people we were 'welcomed' by certainly were not.

The value here makes excellent authentic flamenco performance, brilliant dancers and strongest drive, not food, which acceptable, but not something unusual. The prices in munu are above medium.

If you go to the 8pm session you will be the only ones in the restaurant. Best to go at 10pm. Still
an amazing restuarant! Recommend.

we were 10 minutes late to the reataurant. so i called them to check if still ok... there was no problem.. everything was ok and the table was at a perfect angle.... it was not crowded may be that was the reason we still had our table... i will never know was it 'the fork' or the less customers that i got the table...

Cafe de Chinitas is not to be passed up when visiting Madrid. Superb service, quality food and wine accompany an authentic flamenco group that will leave your blood hot with excitement.

I think, that two hours are not enough time for enjoying meal and watching flamenco . It's impossible to eat and to watch at one time!

Good Experience for first time visit to a Flamenco restaurant- fantastic dancers and great atmosphere. Price is quite steep especially if you are there for dinner.

This was a fun evening. As a couple, we enjoyed drinks, supper (which was very good), and an entertaining, spirited Flamenco show.

It's a nice place to visit when you are travelling Madrid, atmosphere was good, location was in central, service and quality are little more than what you expect. If you are looking for a tablos in downtown Madrid, try this place!

The price of menu items seemed really steep. The show was a good length, good performances and high energy. Service was generally good though I wasn't impressed by it.

Food got negative reviews for being unappetizing and expensive. So I changed my reservation to show and drink only. I had water and my daughter had coffee, both overpriced. What looked like a tour group came in before the show started. When I looked behind me about 15 minutes into the show, the group was gone!

The waiter was very unpolite asking us to leave out 5 minutes after the show finished because they wanted the table to other clientes. I really dont recommend.
