My third visit to Cafe De Pijp and it never disappoints, the food is good and the staff are really lovely. Would recommend to anyone staying in the area.

We enjoyed the casual ambience and outdoor seating. Waiter had a sense of humor, and was attentive. Food was prepared just right. A few more choices for beer and wine might have been nice.

Walked into Crazy Kreeft one evening after hearing all good things. The restaurant was half full, but that soon changed. We where just in time to secure a table for 4. We ordered 2 Surf and turf menu's with the burger. Soon the food came to our table. The burger looked really good and also tasted very good. Juicy meat, not rare, like we asked...but yeah. The fries where thin French fries with ketchup and tasty mayonaise. The lobster, wow, that's a different story. It was really small, dry and tasteless. I was so disappointed, because I really hoped that they would do this right, seeing their name is Crazy Kreeft. I was still hungry after the burger and half lobster so I ordered the lobster sashimi, which was another disappointment seeing the lobster was cooked...why did they even call it sashimi? The lemon pie was ok, but I expected nothing else, seeing it was from Holtkamp. The cheese plate was boring and dry. Not coming here anytime soon. Total bill including tip 132 euro. This was with 2 glasses of chardonnay, 2 small beers and 4 ice tea.
