10/10This restaurant was really suprising discovery. I had great dinner there. The Food was super delicious and the staff was super friendly. Nice ambience and super easy to find Location in the centre. I highly recommend it.

10/10Lovely restaurant, the staff were so friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome, nothing was too much trouble. The food was freshly made and tasted amazing. Highly recommend especially if you want to try some traditional Dutch food.

8/10The food was good and the service friendly. Unfortunately there was a large and very noisy party happening in the bar area at the front of the restaurant. We were seated in the back, so it was quieter, but it did affect the evening. I might try it again, but call first to confirm there isn't a party going on.

9/10It was a shame that the restaurant was almost empty. The staff were helpful and friendly. The food was superb. We were so impressed that we finished our trip to Amsterdam with a second dinner here.

About this restaurant
Cafe / restaurant de Bazel is sinds begin 2016 dé nieuwe spot aan de Vijzelstraat. Hier, aan de Rode Loper van Amsterdam kan je de hele dag terecht voor ontbijt, lunch, biologische thee en koffie of een goed glas wijn. Wij maken zo veel mogelijk gebruik van lokale, organic en vegan producten en hechten veel waarde aan vers en kwaliteit. Deze nieuwe place to be trekt inmiddels veel Amsterdammers, toeristen en staan we bekend als een fijne werkplek vanwege de rustgevende ambiance en gratis wifi. Uniek is om na de lunch even rond te dwalen in Stadsarchief Amsterdam.
