The veal dishes (with mushrooms & the other with the citrus sauce) were delicious as were the potatoes with pancetta. I was very disappointed in the lamb chops.. The plate looked large but the chops were mainly bone and fat.

This restaurant is definitely a place for meat lovers .... although there are other dishes available. It was one of our most expensive meals in Sicily and whilst we certainly enjoyed it we did feel that we had better meals elsewhere which were more reasonably priced. Between the four of us we enjoyed the Straccetti Di Pulled Pork, Parmigiana and Tortellini (which included burrata, ricotta and eggplants) for our starters and they were good. It was meat across the board for our mains and that included Argentian and American Black Angus steaks as well as the Tagliata Di Bavetta and a veal dish with mushrooms (Filetto Di Vitello con Fungi Porcini). Portions sizes were good and we couldn't manage a dessert. We enjoyed a couple of bottles of Santagostino Bagio Soria being a Nero d'avola / Syrah blend - it was lovely. Service was good without being great. The bill came to 260 euros including service, some water and side dishes.

A wonderful dinner at Campo Norcineria con Cucina down by the water, near the old fish market (which dates back to 1874). We started with caponata in a parmigiana basket and a selection of mortadellas. For main courses, we had one of the house specialties, the veal fillet; one of us had it with a sauce of sautéed porcini mushrooms & black truffles, and the other, with a Sicilian citrus sauce. As a side dish, roasted potatoes with a breadcrumb crust. For dessert, tiramisu and amari.

If you’re looking for meat in Trapani this place will satisfy that urge. The courses are pretty darn good, but the service was just too dang slow. We had a three hour meal because they forgot to fire our meat course and then took a dessert order and had to take it a second time and took 45 minutes to deliver. Unacceptable and would not return because it.

The Argentinian entrecote was perfect! The american was too fatty and almost impossible to eat. The Uruguay entrecote was also good! And the spaghetti was very good and fresh! The waiters is too stressed and fortets to pay attention to customers who is already there. Would have loved it if they had come to the table and asked if everything was ok or if we wanted something else. A bit to expencive for the lack of service… you come, get the food and drinks, pay and go home…

I ordered a Irish prime rib tomahawk steak and was told it would be very big at around 1kg. I was extremely disappointed. The meat was in itself very tasty although over cooked as I had asked for it medium. Also 40% of the steak was a large bulb of fat which hadn't been trimmed away. I finished the steak considerably faster than my friends who had ordered the much cheaper options on the menu. I paid 68euros for the steak which I had expected but was very disappointed with the food. I will say that I have eaten at the restaurant previously and enjoyed my meal as a regular working commuter to the ship yard in Trapani. This meal has me doubting I will ever return to this restaurant. I did try to explain I wasn't happy to the staff but they spoke very little English.
