10/10A descent down hidden stairs reveals an elegant and refined restaurant offering a first class menu and superior wine list. Attentive staff and a reasonable cost made for a great night. Only tiny gripe some of the servings are fashionably small. Still, a great spot.

10/10Eating in this underground restaurant from 1586. Magical. The staff were amazing, the food was out of this world. Best dining experience to date here and we’ve had some great meals!!! Highly recommend this experience!

10/10Don’t let the external put you off, heading down the stairs you will be wowed by an amazing restaurant!! The food and ambiance was incredible, attention and service outstanding. The English speaking waitress (young woman) was amazing!!!! Don’t miss a dining experience here while in Lucca

10/10Excellent quality of food. The portions aren’t huge, but the food is first rate. The service was super: attentive but not in your face. A lovely relaxing ambiance, and the evening starts with a complementary glass of bubbly. Thoroughly enjoyed the evening, and fully recommend.

10/10This was an excellent evening, from the warm welcome to the very tasty cheesecake. Lovely setting in the onetime cellars. Distinctive dishes and worth working through the menu - wine was great too. First-class service and highly recommended.

10/10Very good, attentive to gluten allergies. Tasty anchovies with stracciatella and gluten free bread, grilled eggplant with feta, gnocchi, and roast beef. The staff were lovely and the chef offered an amuse bouche, including one for my child who must eat gluten free . If it weren’t so hot I’d have eaten more.

10/10Staff exceptionally knowledgeable and welcoming. Four of us chose the tasting menu. Thoroughly recommended, good size plates. Good pace between courses. Every plate was delicious. This is our third visit and we can’t wait to visit again when we come back to Lucca from the UK. Thank you

10/10This restaurant is set in cellars below a historic palazzo. There are also some table outside in a quiet street behind the palazzo. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the overall service is excellent. The food is top quality and the prices are reasonable.
