Carluccios - Richmond

Having usually been happy with carluccios, I was shocked how bad the food was. I sent the steak I ordered back TWICE and ended up ordering a different dish altogether as they clearly could not cook steak. In addition the vegetable side dish was equally unpalatable. I wondered whether the oil things were cooked in was rancid. In any case I am not sure I will try a carluccios again. Certainly not the one in Richmond! It’s either a bad night or a new chef needed.

Great service and delicious food - very reasonable set menu too. The outside area is well heated and completely covered so makes it a perfect socialising spot for a mixture of households. Will definitely go again!

One of my favourite places for lunch in richmond! good menu, consistent quality of food; reasonably quick and friendly service. We were able to get a table outside too (with prior discussing on the phone).

The staff are always lovely here, you always get a warm welcome and good service. Food and drinks are very good too as is the shop. I have been a customer for many years and will be for a few more.!

We had to sit outside and the tables were much to close together. We didn’t feel safe. We eventually sat far apart at the bar and that was much better.

Really nice place to meet with heated outdoor seating which was great.

Carluccios in Richmond was really good. The choice and quality of food was great and the atmosphere very welcoming. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We would definitely go again. Well done ????

We have been going to Carluccios restaurants for a number of years, especially the one near the river in Kingston. The food there was very good, but now it has been closed down. So we have eaten in Richmond Caiucciosthat twice now. The service wasn’t as good as we have experienced before and we felt that we were hurried towards the end.

staff was super friendly the whole way through, we had a kid with us and they were very patient with the extra effort with a child. food was delicious, made an effort to check up on us frequently. would def go back.

Excellent from the time we arrived, we were early, but no problem we were seated straight away took our order, which was quick service, food was excellent as was the service from all the staff, it was my Wifes Birthday lunch as we both had the day off work. Have eaten in the 2 branches in Kingston, but the Richmond branch beats them ten fold for all round excellence.

Lovely waitress, we had a bottle of wine, which was vinegary. And we changed it, and at the end when paying the manageress -, explained that other people had said something about it. And she gave me a bottle of another wine, to take away with me. Very good customer service.

* Mix up over the booking at the beginning was quickly overcome because there were lots of tables available. * Food good and reasonably priced after Wowcher deal. * Great surroundings and pleasant atmosphere.
