About the restaurant Carmen El Agua

High quality restaurant. Perfect location and delicious food, local and high quality cuisine, with dishes generously served. The vibe was positive. My only comment is the price, but good food may be sometimes expensive.

The service was top notch. Went out of their way to accommodate us early, helped us with our 1 year old and also worked with us despite the language barrier. We had fondue (4 meat premium) and it was fairly basic (with the exception of the numerous sauces that came with it which were all good) but quite tasty. We had the chocolate fondue for dessert as well. Would definitely recommend.

The food was good and correct.
We could only get a table at the lower balcony that is semi opened - and it was too cold, which impacted the experience. We wanted to leave fast do stay warm.
Also we expected a view from Allambra which is not the best because there is a glass window that reflects the lights from inside so you can’t really see or take pictures from Allambra correctly.

I enjoyed this place . Prices are good expensive for Spain but not for America. There are alot of steps down to this restaurant for those of you that have a handicap or just don't like hills and stairs this is not the place for you . But the staff was wonderful and the view was beautiful and the food was delightful. I enjoyed it and it was the best thing to do on our last night in Granada. They have bathrooms and they do take credit cards. The buses that can be done to take you right to the street to walk down is C-32 AND C-31. ♥️ The earlier the better for the reservation there weren't that many of us at 7 most people came when we were finished eating and ask to be seated by the window or the outside patio ! ????♥️

Great food, nice view of Alhambra, friendly service. Recommend the Tuna in particular. Slight sense of chaos about the place as guests had to ring the bell and be interrogated to get in - sounded like “Avon Calling” - and two sets of recorded music were played at the same time, one on each floor, and people charged up and down the wooden stairs to the upper floor. Quite funny really. Watch out for your credit card when you pay, they don’t understand the difference between paying in pounds or euros so we took a hit as the waiter had ticked the pounds option without telling us. To be fair I don’t think he understood what he was doing. Worth a visit definitely.

We started with the burrata appetizer and it was absolutely divine! Our Fondue de Queso Especial was good. It was tough to know what to order because most of staff spoke little English (our problem, not theirs!). We worked it out though! :) You should reserve a table at this restaurant simply because of the view — it’s spectacular!
