Food was mostly very good, but with one disappointing main course (filet mignon) with hardly any meat in contrast to the veal which was very generous. Plat du jour of mackerel was good. Only one waiter and when it got busy inevitably this meant that service slowed down a lot and that mistakes were made. I would give this a solid 3/5 stars as it was not expensive and you have to bear this in mind. Overall an enjoyable meal.

Good food attractively presented. On Saturday night offered on the Menu of the day, but good choices in each category. You had a choice of 2 or 3 courses. Fairly good wine list for small restaurant. We would go back.

We needed a break- didn't want to go full out gourmet. Instead, we were looking for moderately priced, fresh, local, and relaxed. We got our wish with this restaurant. It is quite small and very popular. When we left, all 26 tables were filled. Very nice evening.

We made reservations about an hour in advance, arrived shortly after restaurant opened at 7PM. We were the first people in the restaurant, although it quickly filled up over the next half hour. We chose a half-bottle of a local wine, and as entrees, two different fish dishes...both entrees were excellent, as were the desserts and the wine. The restaurant is very small, perhaps no more than 20 seats and there were only two waitstaff, but they were fast and efficient, inquired about our food several times, and generally made us feel very comfortable. Total cost for everything was about 55 Euros...a bargain and an excellent dining experience.

This restaurant was a nice surprise. It does not present itself with touristic charm, but its food offers simple yet interesting flavours that draw on local tradition and ingredients. The owner is French-speaking but patient with would-be French speakers. He doesn't put on airs and graces. He is hard-working, serving his small restaurant on his own with efficiency, and he knows his wine list well, making good food-wine recommendations. We went back a second night. The highlights were the Parsnip and Potato puree of the special Foie Gras entree, the perfectly cooked river-fish, Sandre, served with a slightly acidic white-wine based sauce, and the perfect inside 'gooiness' of the chocolate fondant. I recommend this restaurant, which will serve good food, offer a range of nice wines, and not drain your wallet, like some Dijon restaurants are prone to do.

It's my second time to go here. Maybe the plates not suit us, but the owner is so good!!!! Because he asked us and changed our plates even we already ate them. And we paid nothing for the change. The desert is always perfect!

This was by far our best meal in Dijon. The quality for the price is unbeatable - €26 for three fantastic courses and reasonably priced, very good quality wine. The only waiter (who I believe was also the owner) was extremely attentive without being over bearing at all. He spoke very clear and slow French for me, being an American student trying to learn French. My mother and I had the most amazing pork dish we've ever had, and the veal was also to die for. The desserts were equally as amazing. We finished off our very calm, unpretentious dinner with an on-the-house after dinner drink from the region. If you are looking for a local gem, we highly recommend!

A quiet out of the way place, small, no tourists (except us!). Fantastic food from a short but well thought out menu.
