Entering the restaurant from the street couldn’t be more of a surprise! The façade is totally non descript. We walked past it twice! Once inside the Philipino could not be more welcoming. We ordered a refreshing salad to start and an amazing paella with basmati rice (id never tried it before) which makes the paella much lighter for an evening meal. Great socarat made this even better.great service throughout. The decor is a hotch potch of photos, paintings. Art installations and clothes on a clothes line....but it somehow works! Highly recommended.

Not my first time and I keep coming back given how amazing food and service is.
If you are looking for “traditional” paella, you’ll still like this place but you won’t think it’s awesome.
If you are looking for awesome food and service, and I mean 5 stars not the well I can’t give .25 stars kinda thing, then you can’t miss this, period

Love, love, love!! Just a magical experience at this little, family owned restaurant. Service was amazing, as was food and atmosphere. Gina made us feel right at home as soon as we walked in the door. Easy to miss as it's just a little out of the way (though not really, just a 5 Euro Uber ride from our Salamanca AirBnB), but totally worth it. So glad we stumbled upon it! Best paella (patella, technically) we've ever had (we had the Marina and the Huerta. Both wonderful but the Marina was the real star). We would have had to pay double the price for anything approaching this back home in Los Angeles. One of a kind experience. The highlight of our trip to Madrid so far.

Neither the paella or fideua where of the usual variety. With that said, they were both excellent. I would highly recommend this restaurant. The service was good in fact the service was excellent. The food was appropriately portion and was very very tasty. There were clearly a few tourists but of the type that do their research before they go somewhere
