Nata come enoteca grazie alla famiglia Bleve, originari del Salento, Casa Bleve può esser definito uno dei primi esperimenti di wine bar, che nel tempo ha mutato la sua anima. La straordinaria capacità di scovare eccellenze in giro per la nostra penisola caratterizza questo elegante salotto nel centro di Roma, nello specifico nel cuore del Campo Marzio, conservando immutata la splendida accoglienza.

Una carta dei vini degna di nota, strutturata con le tante etichette custodite nelle storiche cantine, tra le più suggestive del sottosuolo romano, accompagna piatti a base di polpo, ma anche carpacci e tartare, salumi e formaggi, i primi della tradizione e nuovi abbinamenti, con piatti che vedono protagonisti l’agnello, la Fassona, il baccalà, il rombo, vari tipologie di tortini dolci, semifreddi e tarte tatin.

Un servizio attento e professionale completa l’esperienza in questo ristorante la cui sala è impreziosita da un muro romano di età augustea, ed i meticolosi ed accurati restauri hanno resi gli spazi estremamente originali. Da non perdere gli sfizi di Casa Bleve: tra questi l’involtino di peperone con spuma di tonno, capperi e acciughe, la mozzarella di bufala con alici, il tacchino arrosto ripieno di ricotta e tartufo nero, piatti semplici di grande impatto, a conferma dell’ottima ricerca delle materie prime.

    Excellent service. The waiter really took care of us and helped us decide on a wine (the list is extensive!) and actually selected one that was cheaper than our initial choice and delicious. Food was good, nicely presented and we were given complimentary biscuits which were beautiful. Lots of nice touches made this a very pleasant experience and we were made to feel very special and looked after. Our waiter even shook our hands like we were old friends as we left. Highly recommend this place.

    Me and my partner booked a table at Casa Belve while in uk. We were going off the reviews we had read. When we arrived in Rome and had our evening meal here. The restaurant did not disappoint us. The service was great, the staff were friendly and polite. The food was delicious. We very much enjoyed the tasteful dishes we had. Be nice if there was background noise as in ‘music’. Apart from that we recommend to eat at Casa Bleve.

    We had a fabulous meal and the staff were excellent. We had a special tour of the historical wine cellar which was amazing. We would definitely recommend Casa Bleve for a special occasion. The food was superb.

    The seafood past it was really good really fresh and we really enjoyed it. The beef cheek was tender but a little bland. Hospitality it was really great and we would return

    This was our third time visit and very satisfied again. We took different dishes every time and all was excellent. Service was professional. Atmosphere is that of high class restaurant.

    Old school classy dining room, good classic Roman cuisine. The waiters were not particularly friendly with the tourists like us, but fussed around greatly with the regulars. Did not feel we were welcome that night. Food was fine. Wine list is impressive.

    I was happy with both the staff and the reataurant itself. But the menu was far from satisfactory. It is possible that they were simply not my taste. But could it be possible that everything was not my taste frim the starter to the dessert ?

    Lovely room. Excellent service. My first dish was sweet red peppers wrapped around tuna. Excellent. Second was spaghettoni with black garlic and amberjack carpaccio. Wonderful, but actually would have been better with less fish. Last course braised beef cheek. Melted in the mouth. Very good. Overall, best meal I had in Rome during a week long stay.

    There was no gap in everything from the atmosphere in the restaurant, the quality of the food and when it was served, the wines we had, and the last dessert. And we were even more impressed by the never-ending hospitality. I would like to visit again when I come to Rome.

    Food was great. Service even better. Wine selection was amazing with Claudio providing excellent recommendations. Got a tour of the very special wine cellar. Highly recommend on your trip to Rome.

IL TEMPIO DEL VINO - Anacleto e Tina Bleve, salentini di Cerfignano, sono a Roma dal 1963. La Bottega del Vino di Via di Santa Maria del Pianto, da loro creata nei primi anni ‘70, è stato forse il primo locale che a Roma ha saputo unire cultura del vino e delle ricercatezze alimentari con un’arte del ricevere e dell’ospitare diventata proverbiale.

SPECIALITA' PUGLIESI E SALENTINA - Offre ai suoi ospiti i migliori prosciutti italiani, una selezione di formaggi lombardi, piemontesi, toscani e una specialissima mozzarella di Bufala Dop di Paestum. Tra le proposte alla carta dal sapore tipico mediterraneo, vi sono vere e proprie delizie da provare: l'involtino di peperone con spuma di tonno capperi e acciughe, e il fiore di zucca ripieno di ricotta e pistacchi di Bronte servito con pomodorini al forno, olive taggiasche.

LA CANTINA - Le sale oggi tenute da Casa Bleve sono capaci di rivelare immediatamente, grazie anche ai restauri assai accurati a cui sono state sottoposte, spazi e forme “monumentali” inconsuete per esercizi commerciali o per locali pubblici.
