About the restaurant Casa da Dízima

I've been at Casa da Dízima before, and always had excellent meals, and I could appreciate the excellent service. I have decided to return in New Year's day, which I knew would be a difficult day for the kitchen, but at least I could expect quality and consistency from the restaurant. I wasn't wrong. They delivered, with the place absolutely packed. Highly recommended.

I ate the mushroom risotto and it was really creamy and very tasty, also the portions were adequate. The interior is very cozy and intimate, I would only change the chairs (heavy and not very comfortable imo). Service is very good, attentive and nice which resonates perfectly with the restaurant price range.

What a great restaurant! Fantastic setting. We ate downstairs. There is also a terrace upstairs that overlooks the coastline. The restaurant is peeled back to it's original brickwork which sets for a fantastic atmosphere. The food was excellent along with the attentive service. Excellent value for money given the overall quality.

A jewel on the Marginal: the vaulted ceilings as you enter are breathtaking as is the view of the river from the terrace; the service is attentive, welcoming and ready to bring a smile and a laugh as they serve; and most importantly an exciting menu of dishes ranging from fish to game, which are fresh, beautifully presented and packed with the flavours described. Our choice of Mozambique Gambas, the trio of fish followed by cornets of "nata" were exquisite in taste and presentation.
