When you want to pay high prices for nothing, at least we should know how much we will pay and what the nothing is before ordering. We choose to spend 2000 yummies at this restaurant that explicitly says we can use it as discount of the total of the bill. When we arrived, the waiter told us they had nothing that was written in the fork's page, because (and said with all the naturality in the universe) the page was not updated yet. Anyway, since we had chosen to use the yummies, we could only order the set menu! Where was that written? Nowhere...the page was not updated. Where is the menu? The waiter said "in my head, i'll tell you the options in a minute". For starters 3 different kinds of soup or chourizo. For second plate 2 types of grilled meat and one grilled fish. For desert we could choose between santiago pie, orange or vanilla ice cream. Coffee not included. Drinks? You could choose between aquarius, fanta, cola or beer. When i asked how much was it, he said 25 eur. Why? "With the yummies you can only choose the set menu, and the set menu is 25 eur for each person, so i only charged you one". Where is that written? Nowhere.. the only small indication on the wall was that they have a 3 dishes set menu for 15 eur... somehow when you use the fidelization discount, the price goes up. That's just cheating. If you don't want to give the discount don't offer it as a possibility at the fork. If nothing that you advertise on the online menu exists, don't put it on the menu. Lying is bad business. By the way, the food that was given to us was worth maximum 10 eur per person. Not explaning the menu or the prices since we arrived is plain robbery.

It was a tad tricky finding the restaurant but I'd say that just adds to its charm! The owner's welcoming service made the dining experience really special. A restaurant with quite a character, so worth checking it out!

I went there last week and I was very satisfied with this restaurant. It's very close to the centre of Madrid and the service is very fast. The staff (both the owner and the waiter) was very kind and welcoming with me. I was there alone, but I felt so comfortable. It seemed to be at home. The owner was very friendly with me and I will keep a very good memory of this place. I tried the menu of 25€ with a discount of 10€ with 1000 yums. The menu includes three courses: a starter, a main course and a dessert. I chose salmorejo (a typical soup from Cordoba), rabo de toro and Tarta Dulcinea. It was an excellent menu with traditional food. I enjoyed very much eating there their typical food. If I come back to Madrid, I will definitely come back there to have another delicious dinner.

Excellent discovery!!! A new restaurant in Madrid with an atypical atmosphere. We had the best croquetas de jamon of our entire stay. The owner is very sweet and takes care of his clients. The menu is not expensive and the wine is good. Don’t hesitate, go there!
