Casa Urola was a superb restaurant. The food was excellent and beautifully presented. The service was beyond excellent. We would gladly return on a future trip to San Sebastian.

Small restaurant in the old town of San Sebastián with excellent food and kitchen. Unfortunately, the perfect food and related price level is not fitting to the atmosphere. We had a table next to the area of the service staff and every couple of minutes someone was shouting to an intercom and than a very loud noise was coming back (almost like a voice from a police car). Service was also somehow unorganised as we had 3-4 different service members taking care of us and for 2 order items we had to ask twice. 2 couples had the same reaction with the noise (1 left and one moved to another table at the end of the room). Again it is excellent food and as for this price level I think it important to provide this feedback so the restaurant can work on this to become better.

De todos los restaurantes/bares que visite en San Sebastian (12-15) definitivamente el peor. A todo le faltaba sal, el pescado estaba undercooked y los platos no tenian textura

Nos ha decepcionado. La calidad y frescura del tan apreciado besugo no estaban a la altura y además estaba pasado de cocción. Una pena. Imperdonable, no merece una segunda oportunidad.

Ideally located in the old town of San Sebastian, the food and service were outstanding, including the information on some unusual dishes and good advice on what wine to drink with them, highly recommended.

Small and charming restaurant. I am definitely coming back. My husband and I went to top Michelin starts restaurant and have our own opinion on them. San Sebastian goes a step above in food. Having said that, we were very impressed with the quality at Casa Urola. We will surely come back and we highly recommend.

We love this place! The service was outstanding and the food even better! They were helpful to make sure we understood what we ordered and very attentive to our table. We would highly recommend Casa Urola!

Generous helpings and generally good food but some dishes over salted and could do with more vegetable/salad options or side dishes as protein heavy. Restaurant upstairs lacks atmosphere (bright lighting) but female waiting staff excellent and professional (male member of staff we encountered in first entering the ground floor bar was rude and offhand).

Easy booking process Very easy to find the restaurant Staff very helpful but a little inconsistent in timings Food excellent the Tuna starter was the best meal I had in 14 days of travel, outstanding The overall experience was great very enjoyable meal in a good location make sure you book in advance it’s a very popular restaurant

This Michelin restaurant located in the heart of San Sebastián’s pintxo district was a lovely dining experience. The formal dining area was located on the upper floor and the room was beautifully decorated. The dishes were aesthetically pleasing and very delicious. The hostess was very charming and the service was attentive. Would recommend for a a Michelin experience in the Basque region.

Blackened monkfish was undercooked, bland. Presentation was not spectacular. Charging for the tap water $2.90 and $1.90 for bread service when main course costs $28 is ridiculous in the city that is full of excellent pintxos for the fraction of the price!
