10/10We arrived just before sunset and were pleasantly surprised by the amazing view from in front of the restaurant of the sun going down across the river. From the moment we walked in the door, the ambience was delightful. Serene music and tranquil decor. Service was outstanding. The food was the highlight.... scallops and shrimp were fresh and prepared to perfection. The seafood with rice was a wonderful entre.

9/10Wonderful scallops and a very tasty sea rice. Deserts were really good too. wonderful view over the Douro from the first floor. A bit too quick in the service though.

10/10Cooking was excellent and the service was spot on, really knowledgeable and helpful with recommendations from the menu. Worth booking in advance rather than just turning up as this gives you a great chance of securing a table on the first floor. The view from there is magical, looking across to the Douro.

10/10The location couldn't be more picturesque. We arrived at 7:45 and had a perfect view of the Douro River from our table in the center of the room upstairs. Attentive service, outstanding food, and not overly crowded. There were 6 of us, 5 Americans who live in Porto, and 1 Portuguese friend from Lisbon. We all loved the restaurant, marked it as a place to return to on our phones, and will be back. Highly recommended for an authentic experience of Porto gastronomy. Bravo!

10/10Casa Virtude was our favorite dining experience in our stay at Porto. We sat outside and enjoyed the sunset during our dinner. We got the Sea Rice, Black Risotto, Lime Pie, and Chocolate Mousse. It was truly an amazing experience!!

9.5/10Beautiful family run restaurant in a lively suburb of Porto. Fantastic views of the river from the second floor. Friendly waiting service with knowledgeable explanation of menu. I would recommend the black squid risotto which was delicious and the fish cooking was perfect. We had a minor issue with running 30 mins late and called ahead to confirm the reservation and discount. The staff on the phone said it was fine. However when it came to paying, they said the telephone number from the Fork email to call was not one the restaurant recognised? The onsite manager was accommodating and honoured the booking.
