This was the second time we visited this restaurant. The first visit was wonderful. This time while still a pleasant experience, the food quality suffered. I know they have a new chef and the owners was out tonight but there are some things I have to point out. The pork secrets were salty and overcooked still edible but needs attention. The octopus was mediocre at best and very expensive for such a small portion. Two very small tentacles that were chewy and dry. This was unforgivable given how much the waiter talked up teh dish. Nothing was excellent, nothing was horrible either. I will try one more time before my final analysis. For now a 7 out of 10 is very generous review for what was a 5 out of 10 food experience. Service was very professional and polite. We never waited more than a few minutes for anything. Bravo there. Of course the upstairs dining room is very pleasant with a great view and despite a large table of loud hipsters, the ambiance was great. Of course having friends visiting made for a great evening. As a suggestion, consider having at least one more vegetarian dish and perhaps poultry or pasta for those guests that just don't eat fish.

Room upstairs has a great view of the river. We are at 9pm and got a table at the balcony. Very quiet and plenty of fresh air. Food was amazing and price very reasonable. Highly recommend. Off the beaten path which was also nice.

Best restaurant to have a romantic getaway dinner! the staff is very friendly and attentive. The caldo verde is one of the best ones we had in Porto so far, same goes to the octopus. Although it was a little bit chewy for our own likings, it didn’t spoil the moment whatsoever as it was very tasty. Couldn’t had asked for a better engagement celebration dinner experience.

Great experience, great place to see the sunset. Order yourself a pitch of maracujá sangria and just take in the sunset. The food was delicious and well balanced, even the desserts are healthy (the pineapple one, not the chocolate one).

Let's start from the very beginning. When I booked a table, I wrote that I would like a table by the window, this request was completely ignored, without any explanation. My first order was messed up and I had to wait while my friends were already eating their food. The first dish and the first disappointment was "Breaded Octopus", I do not advise anyone to take this food, the octopus was tough like rubber, it was simply impossible to chew, the sweet potato, which was deep-fried, was burned and the chef had the audacity to claim that it should be so. no, it shouldn't. (buy a cookbook buddy). After refusing this dish, I ordered a Portuguese-style steak and asked for medium, or medium rare, but received literally a raw piece of meat lightly fried on the grill, potatoes, which were once again deep-fried, just floated in oil, I don’t know, maybe they use oil as a sauce, the same oil from deep fat. But, it is worth noting that the meat was of good quality, and I ate this raw but warm piece of beef. My advice to the chef: If you made a mistake with the dish, you should not rush and make mistakes, it is better for the client to wait, but get quality food.
