[IF YOU DON'T WANT TO READ ALL THIS, ITS JUST A TOURIST TRAP. ] // First impression: very strong mold smell. Ordered some entries and got the first look on what kind of place we were, miniature entries for gigantic price. Than noticed that the menu was different than showed on THE FORK, curiously missing the cheaper options. Overpriced wine, which is hard to find in Portugal (congrats!) came along. Fado started 1 hour late, but sure, it was not on purpose to make us consume more overpriced miniature starters. The fado was nice. We ordered miniature codfish also, for stunning 24€ a piece, which is a pricetag for a Michelin Star restaurant in Portugal, and this was definitely not the case. Than came the check, Oh, the check... 1- They charged us for 3 couverts. As I mentioned, the entries was miniature, but the couvert was literally 3 very small slices of (bad) bread, 19 drops of olive oil and 5 grams of olive tartar. No, it wasn't 3 sets of this, no, just this. If we would split this for three we would need tw

Intimate surroundings reminiscent of an improv environment.. Friendly and interractive.. While menu limited, food is good..

Good atmosphere and service. The food was delicious. The Fado singers were very good. Well worth the price.
The restaurant was not very large, but very full. And the lighting during the Fado made for nice atmosphere but not good pictures.

Our main objective in booking this restaurant was to hear some Fado singing. We went for duck and salmon as our main courses. Both were good as was the presentation...especially the grilled salmon which was placed on a bed of spinach criss-crossed with asparagus. Service became slower as the restaurant filled up and was suspended, of course, during the Fado sessions. Tip: make sure you have a reserve of wine and water on your table!

Great eaten. Not the fado menu but a la carte. Were there at 20.00. The Fado singing starts at 21:00 and lasts until 23:00. The shrimp and salmon were excellent. Service very friendly, fast and helpful. The Fado singing was very well accompanied by two guitarists. With a la carte is a surcharge of 10.00 p.p. in the menu is included. We had a nice evening. We had booked through TripAdvisor so got a discount on the food!
