We were a prebooked party of 10 but the table booking was messed up so we had to eat in the bar area, one staff member was helpful but the other 2 were not. We asked for the childrens meals to come with the starter, but they came after the mains and one child by then had gone to sleep. The squid started was tiny, of the mains all the fillet steaks were over cooked and cold, one person got bearnaise sauce when they ordered blue cheese. The steaks came with fries which were not ordered, the creamed truffle potatoes lacked taste (it needed truffle and butter). The salad supposed to come with the ribs was just lettuce. The chicken breast and the burger were good but not really the speciality of a grill. Very disappointing for the price

Great hotel with a nice restaurant. Second time we have dined here and on both occasions the restaurant was empty. This is due to dining there both times on a Sunday night.. However, the food was good - perhaps expensive and the service was friendly but very slow in both occasions. I have the feeling that the ambience and service are better during the week when I understand the hotel is much busier.

We last visited this hotel 24 years ago, so the restaurant was a pleasant find. Particularly like the fact it is situated in the atrium of hotel within the same building. Convenient and relaxing

The main meal here didn't dissapoint; a delicious steak ciabatta. Unfortunately this was followed by a warmed brownie that had black burnt honeycomb on top that ruined the whole dish. When I pointed this out to the waitress and asked her to bring it to the attention of the Chef she disappeared and was not seen again. After 10 minutes I gave up the wait, stupidly paid full price and left. The atmosphere is nice and food has great potential but on this occasion the Chef significantly let the side down. Caution is advised when visiting!

Staff were really friendly and welcoming. They accommodated for all of our needs. Food was great, no complaints at all. We visited on a very quiet evening but there was still a nice atmosphere. Would recommend!
