Pleasant enough but not quite fine dining. Starters and the sirloins and chips nicely done, cooked and presented competently, but nothing amazing and the tomato salad (too roughly cut, so the tomatoes didn't take the vinaigrette) and the espresso (weak, no crema) were disappointing. The server was pleasant but a bit clumsy around the table. Pity that this seems to be a restaurant that people come to only because it's in the airport hotel that their company has booked; standards would be higher if it was otherwise.

Excellent quality of food together with elxtremely good service. Couldnt have asked for more. Would go there again anytime. The atmosphere was pleasant and the restaurant is spotlessly clean.

Food and variety was as one that would be expected from the location and hotel. Service was in general good, but there was the impression perceived that the staff were more than happy to ‘speed up the process’ and this was irrelevant of how many courses were ordered with or without a bottle of wine (which, by the way, was the same price as a bottle when compared with the cost of individual 3x250 ml glasses) . The 20% reduction in price was administered after being questioned why, for a table of one cover, it didn’t ‘stand’ when compared with a take of 2, 3 or 4 covers …….. However the 12.5% service charge (if paid) wipes this out anyway ! On top of this, the noise from the adjacent Lobby Bar was in no way comfortable for those that might prefer a quiet (or even romantic) dinner in the restaurant.

This restaurant was a really great find in an airport hotel. Excellent food, flavorsome and well-cooked, served by friendly and personable waiting staff. What more can I say? We had a very enjoyable evening meal and will definitely revisit in the future. Thanks to all of the staff at the Sheraton Heathrow Hotel and the Cast Iron Grill.

Our server was excellent. Well trained and super smart. Very good person. My husbands burger was perfectly cooked. My tuna could have been a little fresher but i enjoyed the Ceasar Salad. Sticky toffee pudding really put a smile on my face. My hubbies chocolate fondant was perfect. Definitely eat here again

First time visiting this restaurant with my husband and we were pleasantly surprised. Lovely venue, good and comfortable seating, service was excellent, plenty of options to choose from on the a la carte menu. Food arrived hot and full of flavour, we would highly recommend and will definitely re-visit.

Nice atmosphere and sophisticated style . Much better than your average airport hotel. Good steak . Nothing to complain about apart from vegetables were a bit too hard . I would go back

This is the only restaurant available at this hotel, apart from in room dining. My choice from the bbq menu was tuna. I asked for it rare. It arrived very thinly cut, more like an escalope, and too well done. My husbands ribeye was perfectly done however. Unfortunately both watercress portions were old and slimy. The broccoli was so covered in chilli oil that despite looking appetising, was too spicy to eat. The waiter was attentive and apologetic. We were offered free desert which we refused, and then not charged for the tuna and broccoli but it was a disappointing start to our holiday.

The wilted heap of cress spoilt an otherwise well presented steak and chips. The waitress was excellent but the explanation for the cress “the lights are too hot” was a bit silly

We were really pleasantly surprised with Cast Iron! Our server, Juma, was really excellent, so friendly and you could tell she genuinely cared about providing great customer service. The burgers were juicy and very tasty and we enjoyed the Cast Iron bread.

I use hotels all the time and restaurants but my satisfaction with this kind of service is beyond right from the front I cannot remember the names but girls all smiling involving and mr Tom cruise I think u all know him .. thank you for making our stay really enjoyable

All good until a group of 12 arrived on the next table they were shouting, swearing, racist comments , and aggressive . Completely ruined the night and several other guests. Staff did nothing to stop this. Would never go back

Many things went wrong First it took the staff like 10 mins before any one came to take our order Second we ordered bread and butter as it is the fastest thing we can get as we were extremely hungry. It took them 20 mins to serve it after multiple reminders. Third i ordered my stake medium well however it arrived 30 mins later well done! Fourth i ordered peper sauce and I got mushroom sauce! This took them 5 mins to change it. The only positive thing today was the waitress Almass who was very friendly and nice. She informed me that the stake will not be charged and that the desserts were on the house. The starters and sides tasted extremely great however the experience was not pleasant at all and I don't think to go back again

Staying overnight to catch a flight I wasn’t expecting to be offered such a pleasant ambience and the quality of the food. What made it a really standout meal was the quality of service- all the staff we’ve met in the hotel have been impressive but Almaas in the restaurant was special.

The food was average. I had fish and chips but the fish wasn't fresh, and the minted peas were barely there. I ordered an espresso martini which came in something resembling a shot glass...for £8.50. My partner had the burger which he said wasn't very hot. Service was good though.

We ate here Monday even due to flight cancellations as we stayed at the hotel. Through the whole experience, the bar staff and restaurant staff were amazing. They always had a smile and provided excellent service. The food was very good and we enjoyed a couple different items. Cheers!

Good service. Starter of squid and chorizo delicious. Chips lovely and crispy. Ribeye small, thin and tasteless. And no we didn't say anything because we knew there would be good things to come on our holiday and didn't want to spoil it.

Great restaurant. Food was excellent, steak cooked to perfection. Service was great, we were really looked after. Ambience is really lovely and cosy, normally you just eat and leave but because of how lovely the place is we ended up sitting and chatting for a while. Definitely would recommend and come back again.

This is a hard review to write, given we had three meals and two were ok, and one quite bad. This is my review, and I had the bad food, so I'll focus on that. The filet steak was cooked to well done for a medium steak (the other filet was served medium rare was good, as was the rump medium rare). I did not eat the steak, the team did not discuss this and as others had finished their meals refunded without me needing to ask. So happy with the service.
