7/10We went with high expectations given its 9.7 rating on the Fork but it was very average. We had a nice meal, the highlights being the butter chicken and naan bread. They had a cocktail list but for whatever reason couldn’t provide the cocktail ordered from it. It is a small venue with small tables which lacks atmosphere but the service was good.

10/10This northern Indian based cuisine opened for 5 months ago. A short walk from Paddington station and st Mary’s hospital. Nice modern and minimalist interior. Nice Marble top tables and leather chairs- comfortable seating. The King Prawn Patia puri as a starter was a puri which was flattened( usually comes puffed up) filled with a tomato and onion based sauce with prawns and flip over- almost like a tortilla. The sauce was rather sweet. The puri was nice, not overly oily. Pleasant dish albeit on the sweet side. The had the Malai Jhinga as a starter portion which was three prawns flied with an onion salad. The pistachio kufi was also good. Service was good.

9.5/10We had an overnight at Heathrow and decided to train into Paddington station. Very close walk to Cawnpore from Paddinton station. What an excellent little restaurant ! Food of top quality and flavors. Highly recommend.
