Booked online following excellent reviews. Could not find an online menu although they seemed to have vegetarian dishes. It was a tasting menu, staff and chef adapted to make it vegetarian. Excellent original food well presented. Very good wine. Very welcoming. Fantastic staff. Restaurant was quite quite so lacked some atmosphere but that is probably just timing. We were warned on arrival that it was cash only which is very strange these days although there was an ATM opposite. Would recommend particularly if you are a meat eater.

Una grata sorpresa en pleno centro de Alicante. Pedimos el menú de 5 platos y postre, y no sabríamos elegir el mejor, y esto no es fácil que te pase... El pan muy rico, buen trato y el detalle de una buena música. Repetiremos seguro!!

Llegamos a las 14:30 teniendo reserva para las 15:00. El restaurante estaba vacío pero nos dijeron que hasta las 15:00 no podíamos entrar así que tuvimos que esperaramos en la terraza del local de al lado tomando una cerveza que podríamos habernos tomado en nuestra mesa reservada. Cuando volvimos nos atendió a la entrada una chica sentada en una mesa. Fue curioso, pensábamos que era otra clienta y ahí la tuvimos, durante toda la comida, más pendiente de nuestra conversación que de su trabajo si es que era del local. Se acerca una camarera y nos empieza a contar su forma de trabajar, 2 menús, 4 y 5 platos respectivamente y nos dice el precio, 33 y 40 y pico € respectivamente, elegimos el más corto. Cuando se retira la camarera la chica de la otra mesa dice que son 35€ en lugar de 33, todo de palabra, ni carta, ni QR, ni nada de nada. Para bebidas lo mismo, tenemos que elegir a ciegas, ni precios, ni carta de vinos ni nada. La comida, aceptable, pero para las formas y el sitio cara. El cocinero atento y amable

What a great discovery! Loved the concept of being surprised by the chef with 4 different dishes, each of which were amazing and accompanied by some great wines. Definitely will be coming back!

No volveré a ese restaurante. Por diferentes motivos. 1. no son "Michelin" ni de blas. Solo si preguntas, te dicen que en el fondo de la sala y si reservas precisamente en directo pidiendo la zona de restaurante para "michelin" entonces tendrás comida nivel "michelin". 2. En consecuencia el nivel de lo que te sirven es correcto sin brillar ni ser de nivel para pagar 35 € ( sin bebidas, sin cafe) 3. Me dejaron flipando: te avisan de que no aceptan cobros por tarjeta. Sólo Bizum a una cuenta personal ( eso es totalmente ilegal!!!) o efectivo. En el momento del pago, te ponen una nota con el nombre de la persona y su telefono para enviar el bizum !!!! O sea una experienca pésima.. y al final una discusión con el chef ya que para él eramos nosotros los que nos habíamos equivocado en elegir "Michelin" cuando claramente en todas las plataformas lo primero que ves es que ponen "Michelin". Enfin.. mala onda.

The staff were incredibly friendly! They introduced us to the concept of the chef deciding on what we would eat and surprise us! I was very nervous as I don't like seafood that much. The chef asked if there was anything we didn't like, I mentioned seafood. He created the most amazing dishes!!! Incredibly talented!!! Everything was absolutely gorgeous and presented well. The staff explained every course in detail and were very attentive! Would highly recommend, even to fussy eaters like me!

I would really recommend this restaurant if you want to have an exquisite dinner out of the ordinary in Alicante! One of the best restaurants in Alicante according to me( and I know quite a lot restaurants in the city????!)
